Got there at 12 for late breakfast. Sadly breakfast finished at 11.45. Ordered off the lunch menu. Wow very good food all 3 of us enjoyed everything served. Very well priced excellent fresh cooked food.

We stopped en route to the Lake District for breakfast and couldn’t have made a better choice . The breakfast , the price , the surroundings, the service and everything about this cafe was lovely ! In fact it kept us fuelled until early evening , so highly recommend a pit stop here

We noticed a big improvement under the new owners. The Café had been nicely redecorated and was very clean. The food was generous and good value for money. Sadly, the extraction wasn't working correctly so the atmosphere smelt greasy. Fix that and it's 5 stars and more visits

Lovely place to stop for food, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I had the miners Benedict and it was perfect, some of the best poached eggs I have had to date. Highly recommend.
