GO Outdoors

Called here midweek to pick up a few camping accessories. The store was well stocked with plenty of choice on clothing and camping gear.A very helpful assistant (I was told be another assistant that his name was Jack) took time to help us find an item. He then took all our other purchases to the till as we were finding it a bit difficult to navigate parts of the store. This was due to my husband being in a wheelchair.Overall a very pleasant visit, but just a bit inaccessible in parts of the store due to clothing stands packed too close together.

Decent outdoor store I get some of my camping and hicking gear for hear. You can get some good discounts.

The shop assistant was very helpful as my Go Outdoor cards had expired a couple of years earlier with the pandemic, she tried to locate my details on the computer but having moved three times we could not remember which address it was registered under. So she gave me another card. The store was well laid out with good discounts on the products on show. I finished up buying another Tilley hat to go with the other two I had.

Really disappointed...I ordered an awning ground sheet online. Arrived at the Wakefield branch to be informed that there was none in stock. Arrived back home and received an email informing me that there was none in stock and to contact customer care before reordering. Really bad service in my opinion.

Really pleased with my experience in store with Scott. A very knowledgeable and friendly customer service assistant. He took his time with me and made sure everything was ok by asking the right questions and also giving me the right answers.

My friends who have not got alot of money bought a display tent from Wakefield went away this last week 2 tent poles broke after whego out doors have taken no responsibility for this and they left with nothing it disgusting im so glad i hsve caravan and dont need to rely on them so advice dont buy used or display tent from go outdoorr wakefield n they lost 2 days holiday saw 2 gy ropes had broke away from tent had to give up and come home tent now in in tip as go outdoors said bought as seen .learn from this don't buy tent of display they have no children but its ruined there hiday and

Very tired store, empty shelves and poor displays.We regularly vist the go outdoors in Leeds, so we very disappointed with our vist here. The shop is looking very tired and worn. The products are all over the place and the shelves were quite bare. They didn't have what we were looking for in stock and the staff did not want to help us find an alternative.The tent display was a bit scruffy and most of the tents were poorly erected. Most of the guys were tied up rather than pegged out which wasnt great as it was quite a windy day. Some of the tents also had holes. Ovdrall they looked likr they had bsen up for a few months but had been forgotten about.Its a shame because there leeds store is excellent. We actually went there straight afterwards and the difference in the store and the service was notable.
