I couldn't have asked for a better experience from R Metcalfe Funeral Directors. Kar-Ming was so kind and helpful in organising my Fathers funeral, everything I asked for was delivered. A thoroughly delightful gentleman. Thank you to everyone at R Metcalfe.

The first funeral I have had to undertake. From initial contact to the day of cremation the service Metcalfe’s provided was exemplary.

Do not use this business or trust them with your own or your families' personal information. I merely telephoned them to enquire about a deceased friends' funeral, the girl who answered the phone said she was not allowed to give details without asking permission of 'the family' (who it turns out are NOT even related to the deceased) and she took my name and phone number and assured me she would call me back. She didn't!!! - but I got a string of; firstly strange, then rude, abusive, foul language phone calls from what I later realised was this 'non- relative' who appeared to be 'pulling strings' for her own gain. Metcalfe's should have firstly checked their facts and secondly asked my permission before giving my number to such a foul-mouthed third party. Having made enquiries around other friends of the deceased, there are certainly more than 100 that were deprived of saying their goodbyes to a good friend. NOT! a way to run a business!!

Thank you for your compassion and professionalism when helping us organise both my mum and dad's funerals. You guided us through the whole process with sympathy and great understanding.

All the staff were very helpful and understand when organising the funeral arrangements for our family`s bereavement.
