When I had concerns about a company lieing when they sold me a service I was told I should have read the small print. What is the point in trading standards if your complaints fall on deaf ears?

Absolutely hopeless service. I was arguably defrauded on a visit to Belfast and ring to find how I could proceed. Was told that, as I am resident in England, I should contact local consumer advice. Person answering kept repeating the word 'protocol' and constantly interrupted. Are the staff trained?

Don’t waste you’re time, you may as well be looking for advice from the retailer. I used the advice line in England one time, by way of comparison, and they were brilliant, they gave me contradictory and correct advice to the NI line, which should tell you all you need to know.
