Having been discharged from Heartlands Hospital with Bells Palsy, I decided to keep my appointment to check my right eye which had a scratch on the cornea. Heartlands had told me not to bother. I was runing late and Kirtsen said she would give me extr time.Mashal the optician calmly told me I needed to go urgently to Birmingham Eye Hospital and wrote me a referral letter. Olivia called me a taxi and kept me calm. The Eye hospital told me that if I hadn't been seen by them I would have definitely my sight in my right eye. They are currently trying to save it.

All the staff and doctors are very helpful and kind and polite. I went for an eye test, and after about two weeks, they informed me to go back to get glasses
