SMC Motorhomes, Newark

We have just collected our ‘new to us’ Frankia i8400 GD Platin from the guys at SMC. Excellent customer service from all of them. We had been looking for the right Motorhome for us and had been back and forth over the last few months and finally decided it was the one for us. Nigel Lintin is a perfect gentleman and could not do enough to help us. Paul did the handover today and went through everything and answered all our questions. We cannot recommend this company and the staff enough, it was brilliant customer service! They deserve the customer reviews that we have seen. We look forward to having many trips in our new Motorhome both home and abroad over the next few years.

We’d just like to say a big thank you to Nigel Linton for his patience and professionalism during the recent purchase of our motorhome. Also, thanks to the other Nigel that we met, who was so helpful too.We never felt under any pressure to make a purchase and that is exactly the approach that is needed when you are making such a massive decision. Every member of staff that we chatted to during our visit was without exception knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful.The handover was an excellent experience and very thorough and, once again, what a fantastic team SMC employs.Thanks also for the complementary stay at Smeaton’s Lakes, which gave us time to get to grips with the new motorhome, and the reassurance that if we had any problems, help was a short drive away. We actually returned the next morning as we needed one minor part which was ordered and received within a few days.We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend SMC to anyone who is considering purchasing a motorhome.

Having finally made the decision to change our motorhome we were apprehensive about the process after past experience when buying our old motorhome from others. Francisco Castano and colleagues in sales and service were supportive, helpful and understanding throughout the whole process to buy our Globecar Campervan. Whilst there may have been a small number of minor issues after delivery they have been great at looking to address them. They have a quality team providing a service of selling and supporting a quality product.

We have recently purchased a motorhome through SMC and we are more than happy to recommend them .Through each stage they were all highly professional, knowledgeable and friendly. During initial contact they were not pushy and helped us work out the van for us. .Our trade in agreement was very fair and the best offer we had from a dealer. . During the few weeks of preparation they were 100% through. They are easy to contact and always prompt in returning calls. Simon was brilliant and everything turned out how it should. The two hour handover was detailed and even though we’ve been motorhoming for ten years we still need to take time to ask questions and get the right answers. Thank goodness Paul knows his stuff and excellent preparation of the motorhome on collection. Everything we had asked for had been attended to. So we are very grateful to SMC and all its staff. You made the whole process a pleasant experience and we would highly recommend you to anyone.

We have had the very best of service from start to finish. Picked up our MH today and it went seamlessly, I would recommend SMC to anyone. Payments were easily made and I was kept informed of receipt each time I paid some off my balance. Simon was so very helpful and even collected us from the local Premier Inn on our rainy collection day in his own car. Nothing too much trouble for this firm and staff, look forward to seeing you next year for first habitation check. Excellent handover by Paul. Terrific service. Thank you for the lovely hamper too.

Excellent experience, all staff were friendly and approachable, all telephone calls were answered, thank you to Chris our sales person and to Paul who conducted the handover. The coffee, biscuits and hamper were much appreciated.

Warren and his service team went above and beyond to deliver top quality service. I had air suspension, levelling jacks and a tow bar fitted. They collected and delivered the vehicle back and kept me fully informed of progress. I am suffering from major health issues and Warren contacted me regularly to check on how I was doing.It was like dealing with close family. He and his team definitely went the extra mile

September 2023We collected our new Warwick duo from SMC 27th September 2023Simon Heyes was our salesman who made the whole experience of buying and collecting stress free .Simon kept us informed throughout the whole process from buying to collection ,he even went out of his way to source a small item which the Warwick duo didn’t have but he found a very good product which worked perfectly.On collection there was an informative handover by spike .There was small hiccup on collection but it was dealt with swiftly and professionally.And as a very nice touch (SMC )Simon gave Sue whose birthday it was on collection a hamper full of useful goodies.The van did have to go back for a few small tweaks which was handled promptly thank you to the service team .Howard dealt with us he was very helpful .We would not hesitate to recommend SMC and their professional friendly staff at time of writing this review .OverallA pleasant experience a pleasure to do business with .Friendly helpful approachable staffBut mainly very pleased with our choice of our new Warwick duo ✅.Once again thank you Simon .Glyn & Sue
