I went to Royston Blythe for the first time today. I wasn't disappointed! In such difficult and strange times they made me feel completely at ease and safe. Ellie also did a fantastic job on my hair. It was exactly what I wanted and I left feeling like a new woman. I will definitely be going back

After a lifetime of walking out of various traditional barbers' feeling like I've been 'sheared', this has been my first visit to Royston Blythe after booking an appointment for a Gents Cut and I honestly couldn't be happier. Alex cut my hair and has done a fantastic job - she took time to listen to what I wanted and was a pleasure to sit and chat to for 40 mins. The service at RB is exemplary and the fact that they specifically offer Mens Cuts was the reason I chose them in the first place. Well worth the expense and Alex and RB have certainly got another loyal customer.

I always attended this salon because although pricey you did get quality care. However I was disgusted with my last visit, hence the one star!My first visit although 2 years ago I had a full balyage which including full over colour, bleaching, toner and gloss £150 plus hair cut! Several hair colourings later costing around same price or less.I went a few months back, I needed a root touch up, had about 7 foils of bleach and a toner, plus trim £230 !I was so shocked I was charged for balyage, foils, root touch up, full head hair dye plus toner and cut style. But balyage in every salon is more money as it includes an all over colour, its inclusive which it always has been!I get the foils and gloss as additional costs but I think it's disgusting and when I challenged them I was given £30 refund only!I feel its a shame as they put me off returning as a customer so ask for a price before and get it in writing!

Fabulous salon. First time I've been and will definitely be visiting again. Cerys is an apprentice and she did a brilliant job of my hair. Such a lovely girl, re-booked her again I was so pleased. Keep up the good work Cerys.

Worst haircut I have ever had. When I came I asked for a simple cut. The hairdresser looked like she didn't want to be there. She cut my hair at the beginning while it was dry, because we'll use less shampoo" - she said. When cutting my hair

£39 to have a cut by a 20 year old amateur. Don't bother! Your local barber would do just as good a job

I have to say I'm speechless. Went there earlier to get my hair done (pink hair). I stayed there for more than four hours, but it really was worth it. All of the staff in this place are nice and kind, they take their time to make sure it's done properly, and like you want it to be done. I really love the results, the colour looks amazing and I had a nice time in there.Update on my review :I am very disappointed with the results. I was so happy when it was done, and for the first week I didn't wash my hair because I loved it. I bought the shampoo and conditioner they told me to use, and after the first wash using these products, well the colour basically faded away straight away. I went from a lovely pink to a blonde within 5 minutes. I wasn't expecting that, especially because I was using the products you told me to use and because I don't even wash my hair that much. I am not happy with that, and I don't understand why that happened after my first wash.

Been a customer for more than 2 years and love the way my hair is cut, attention to detail and professionalism. Service is very personal and the premises are really clean.

I have frequented Royston Blythe for years. Initially at the Wolverhampton salon and then at the Shrewsbury branch. While their prices are higher than most hairdressers you are certainly afforded the attention and service while you are there. I can honestly say i have never come away disappointed. The staff are friendly and certainly well trained in customer service. Only one negative is the price of the products on sale. Make sure you ask the price before purchasing.
