DKC Hair Lounge

Charlotte has been colouring my hair for a few years now and she has always done an amazing job! I have recently moved out of Southampton but still travel back to see Charlotte as I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else! She understands exactly the look and colour I am trying to achieve and is always considerate about the condition of my hair. She explains everything she is doing and also recommends lots of amazing products and self-care tips for between appointments.Charlotte, Danny and Kayley are all super lovely and welcoming and their new salon is beautiful! They have put a lot of care and attention in to the design of the salon and it definitely shows!There is free underground parking near the salon and it is also easy to access via public transport.

I have been Danny's client for some time now and can't fault the service. He is really talented, personable and has always been very flexible and allowed more than enough time for our often lengthy appointments. The salon is lovely and spacious and all staff are always friendly.

It's a journey finding a hairdresser that truly listens to what you want and actually makes it happen and Charlotte is that person. I have been getting my hair done with her for years and would never go anywhere else. From the lattes to the head massages, it is such a lovely place to visit. I always leave feeling relaxed and so happy with my hair. Thank you so much!

I recently had my hair done with Kayley, who has been colouring and cutting my hair for years now. She always makes me feel welcome, as do Charlotte and Danny and the service is nothing less than perfect.The new salon is in a great location with underground parking for clients which is really handy. When you walk in, your eyes are immediately drawn to the leafy green backdrop, as seen on their Instagram page.Every inch of the salon has been carefully crafted and designed with the intent of making the experience as flawless and enjoyable for the people who visit.I always leave DKC having spent the last hour laughing with Kayley, with a belly full of hot chocolate and marshmallows and of course, silky soft hair.

Had my haircut a few weeks ago and just getting round to writing a review. Cannot recommend this place enough! The vibe and decor are amazing, such a calming environment and felt proper pampered. My hairdresser (Danny) did a fabulous cut and managed to save most of the length despite 2 very questionable self-administered lockdown chops! Price was very reasonable as you aren’t just paying for the cut, you’re paying for the overall experience of going to the salon. Will 100% be back soon!

I have never had my hair coloured, and don’t really like getting my hair cut. However Charlotte at DKC done an amazing job. She talked me through each stage and was so knowledgeable which really relaxed me and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend Charlotte to any one thinking of having their hair done. The salon as a whole has a lovely atmosphere/vibe all the hairdressers are so friendly and you can see all their clients love being there, the decor is beautiful as well.

First time to a hairdressers since last year and I was worried going to a new hairdressers but needn't have as Ashley looked after me really well.She understood what I wanted and after a brief consultation she did the Olaplex treatment on my hair and styled my hair really well.Ashley put me at ease and her knowledge of how hair behaves and can be treated was impressive.I am very happy with how much better my hair feels and looks.As for the salon,it's superb,especially the wash area,the reclining seats are a god send as being short I always struggle to get my hair washed but this was so so comfortable.Yes it's pricey but worth it.

Had my hair done by the amazing Danny last week. I left feeling like a million dollars. The salon is so beautiful and such a lovely few hours out pampering myself. 100% recommend everyone to go here.
