Sounds The Business

Went to visit with the idea of purchasing and fitting a new head unit to my car. Unfortunately all the employees, including the owner, seemed more interested in laying a plastic grass carpet than asking ne what I wanted. Having stood in front of the for some time while they messed about with the grass carpet the owner finally being out of breath asked what I wanted rather than can he help me. I gave a brief list of my requirements, but the impression he gave was he could care and wanted to carry on playing with his carpet. By that time I'd already realised that this was not the place I wanted to do business with. Didn't even suggest any products they sold than my offer an alternative.

Visited Sounds the Business to enquire about apple car play in my BMW 1 Series. Spoke with Simon the owner who advised the best product to install which was an IDCORE system. Booked me in and it runs off the original audio system. Very pleased.

The owner is a great guy and willing to help and listened to my radio problem and resolved it the following day at a good price. An excellent tidy job and as I say the radio worked miles better. Look no further.

Simon and his team are super helpful and friendly and the service I received was excellent, not only the service but the product and fitting is first class. They fitted an active subwoofer to my standard car stereo and now every time I hear a kick drum it puts a smile on my face. Exactly what I wanted.

Took a lead in to get my unit fitted the guy had a very cavalier attitude. Told me he didn’t like fitting them particular stereos and that he could “bodge” a plug together but I’d have to fit it myself. I agreed so he then ordered me a new adapter and said it would be there in the next couple of days I called the next day he said it’s not there I then called 4 days later and he said he completely forgot. Then today I called and he had some outlandish excuses.I get that he must be very busy but if this is he’s Buisness and this is not the way to go about customer service.

Whenever choosing a new company to provide a service, I'm always apprehensive, especially when they are going to be pulling my pride and joy apart to upgrade my stereo.From the outset, Simon was likeable and helpful. The stereo component was ordered at 16:00 on Thursday and fitted Friday. When I arrived at the workshop Simon offered me a lift home and collection on completion, Simon's son kindly did this.When I picked the car up it was dark so I couldn't check for any marks/scuffs etc. I waited until the following day to go over my pride and joy with a fine tooth comb, it was exactly how I delivered the car, exactly what I expect from a professional company.Will definitely be returning to upgrade more components. I highly recommend these guys, thank you so much for doing a top class job.Jon

Visited Sounds The Business this morning, Simon quickly identified and solved a problem with TomTom. He reset the unit f.o.c. and everything is working correctly now. Would thoroughly recommend this business to anyone needing to sort out a tecky" problem. Thank you

Changed my vauxhall zafira tourer standard radio sat nav with a kit and alpine dab radio sat nav. Was very impressed with the quality of the work and how quick he done it. Would definitely recommend them.

Had a Road Angel fitted in my 2006 Toyota Avensis. Superb service and tidily fitted. Would certainly recommend Simon.

Gave Simon a text re installing a gps tracking system on my Range Rover. App all installed and works amazingly well! I’ve got to say he was top notch from start to finish, very neat job, would highly recommend! Having a gps tracker in the car has definitely gave me a peace of mind! Thank you so much Simon!
