About a year ago I decided to embark on a revamp of my teeth after years of mis-matched dental work which I was very unhappy with. Following an assessment by a well known dentistry in Newcastle I visited Dovetail for a 2nd opinion - and I’m really pleased I did. I found that Rob and the team at Dovetail weren’t just interested in the aesthetics of my teeth but we’re keen to discuss the technical aspects of my bite and how it could be improved. Up until my consultation with Rob I’d only thought about the looks of my teeth so to discuss other aspects was a pleasant surprise. Rob recommended additional work which the other dentistry hadn’t identified or recommended and was also better value for money. Throughout my treatment Rob has made sure I was involved at every stage and that I understood and agreed with the treatment plan. His clinical assistant Kelly also kept me informed every step of the way and all I can say is that I highly recommend visiting Dovetail if you are considering dental work.

I cannot recommend Dovetail enough. I was a patient at Dovetail for quite some time due to the pandemic which delayed alot of my procedure and the only downfall was the pandemic. I received nothing but the best care and professional treatments and from very early on it is clear that Dovetail go all out to get everything perfect for your plan. Rob and the team have been amazing, You become more than just a patient, You become a friend and part of the Dovetail family looked after by Kelly and Helen who are always there for any queries or issues which I will admit I had none as the whole process was first class from day one til the very end. I am absolutely over the moon with the work they have done and recommend Dovetail to everyone.

Having just finished a course of treatment to have an implanted bridge fitted, as well as some tweaks to improve my smile, I am absolutely delighted with the results. Rob and the team kept me fully informed at every stage of the process and always took my views into consideration. The work took a little longer than planned due to Covid restrictions but attention to hygiene was outstanding and I always felt safe. The Dovetail team do an amazing job and I would recommend them without hesitation.

I’ve just completed a course of treatment to give me a new smile. Ten crowns and veneers were used to re shape my upper teeth, which I have been unhappy with for many years. Rob and his team gave me all the information I needed to make decisions and agree a plan. At each visit they were friendly and professional, and in between visits (especially during lockdown) they were easy to contact and very responsive. I felt very comfortable during visits, and the results are fabulous. If anyone is thinking of having work done, I can highly recommend Dovetail.

After an accident and breaking several of my existing veneers, Rob did a fantastic job of replacing and updating them. I'm a very nervous patient and needed sedation which was handled really well. Kelly was a lovely and reassuring point of contact when I had any worries too. I'm really pleased with my new smile and happy to return to Dovetail if I ever need further treatment.

The best -- I've been to a lot of dentists, NHS and private. Unfortunately, I didn't look after my teeth when I was young and have needed a lot of treatment. The only reason for going to NHS is that they're cheap ... basically hatchet men/women. Some private are not much better. Rob is tremendously knowledgeable and this only comes with constantly updating himself on contemporary methods. I always try to find out as much as I can about the treatment I'm about to receive and you can believe me -- for cosmetic dentistry, Rob Waine is the best in the business.
