I can highly recommend Beers to everyone - from home DIYers to professional builders. Their products are superior and just as cheap as elsewhere (they happily price match if not) and they are the friendliest staff I’ve come across. They don’t mock the less informed (like I was when I started in the trade) and always provide sound advice to any queries, no matter how simplistic or challenging. We went to Beers yesterday and what can I say!!! The staff at both the sites in Liverpool are wonderful. Nothing is to much trouble.Never ever have we been there and received poor service.I would recommend Beers to anyone looking for good quality building/DIY materials and a consistently superb staff service. Brilliant!!!!!

Saved a fortune coming here rather than picking up materials from the likes of B&Q. Staff are great, just tell them what you're after and they'll even help select some good lengths with the least knots etc. Delivery option is fantastic too for when you're ordering more than you can get in the car and you don't have a van.

I’ve been searching for period skirting online for a good 2 weeks and couldn’t find one I thought was good for the price, all MDF as well which isn’t great due to health concerns. With delivery I was looking at the best part of £500 for 28 metres. I called Beers and they done the full 28 metres in actual wood for £198 with free delivery and even better it was delivered 2 hours later. This a prime example of shopping local, Thomas, the lad on the phone, was proper sound. I’ve got a back garden to deck out as well as more skirting to order for upstairs and I won’t be going anywhere else.

Cheapest place i found for Decking, and helped out loads with calculation etc.. i know a bit about what i was doing, but they went above and beyond to assist.only way i could be happier with the service, was if they did all hard graft themselves

When doing some DIY improvements in the home, I needed some good quality hardwood for some framing.When I arrived at Beer's a member of staff asked me what I needed and after I told him what I was doing, he explained what wood was best for what I needed.The worker then sorted through the wood to ensure the wood I received was good and true and he then cut it to the lengths I required.If you need high grade wood to complete a high quality finish, don't look anywhere else than AJ Beers.An extensive range of wood and wood related accessories. Most of all the staff are courteous, friendly, helpful and professional. I fully recommend you visit AJ Beers if you want quality wood and service, you will not be disappointed.

Great for all wood supplies I bought moulding for a née laminate flooring to finish the edges great service and really helpful staff who are really friendly and professional definitely recommend you try here before Terrys timber good prices too I bought 80 feet for £30
