Willow Glade

The photographers of this adventure area , enticed usto go and investigate. Putting the location into the Sat Nav lead to a construction site , very disappointing for the grandchild. Having stopped to ask for directions, from a local person, we walked to Willow Glade, on the path leading from Skellingthorpe Community Hub. After taking the time and effort to find WILLOW GLADE , we were saddened to find it was largely over grown with brambles and nettles. Den making was not possible .Much of the constructed area was rotten and decaying, making it unsafe to play or climb on. We had hoped to allow our grandchild some time to explore in this Glade, but had to leave due to it being so unkempt .Are there any plans, in place, for the of this area to be maintained to a useable standard?

My granddaughters enjoyed exploring and playing pretend games here, thankyou sustrans.

I took my children down for an afternoon out and we were all very impressed and my kids learnt so much. I highly recommend.

An amazing community facility for all ages to learn about the Sustrans Greenway.
