Scurries Dog Training

Emily is a fantastic trainer. Cookie and I did Emily's 7 week loose lead and recall classes before moving onto her Foundation Gundog classes. The techniques she taught us have been incredibly helpful, we are continuing our training at home and when I feel ready we hope to sign up to Emily's Progressive Gundog classes. I would highly recommend anyone to attend any of Emily’s courses!

Emily has been a revelation, my puppy (now 9 months) have completed two courses with Scurries and her attention to detail and preparation for each class is evident, and her lessons are a joy. Emily is always available to offer her excellent advice for general life with a puppy, and both dog and owner, after a course with Scurries, all are better for it! Emily's approach is pitch perfect and I have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars and recommending to all.

Couldn’t recommend it enough! Having tried many various types of training and puppy schools with my dog, Scurries has definitely been the best. Emily is so lovely, helpful and is always there to help. The classes are fun for both owner and dog and we have both learnt so much. The online classes have been great to keep up our training during lockdown, but we can’t wait to get back into the field with Emily to continue our training!

Emily is a superb trainer. Over our 7 week course our puppy transformed completely thanks to the training techniques Emily taught us. She also provided practical solutions for issues experienced outside class which were just as useful. I’d thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants a well mannered pup.

Highly recommend-I cant express how much we have loved coming to classes with Emily, I thought we came to train our puppy but its us that have done the most learning. I love that it is a force free no pressure learning environment where we can relax and have fun while training. We first attended puppy group and have since booked in for gundog training. Emily's experience shines through and she is always on hand with great advice and able to guide you through any difficulties you may be experiencing with your beloved furbaby.

Emily is absolutely amazing and really helped us with our dog, Chestnut. She was very patient and helpful with ANY query we had about him. Will definitely want to sign up for a rolling gun dog training, as I think it's worth every penny!

Emily hosts great sessions. We done a 7 week puppy course and Emily gave us many tools to help train our puppy cocker spaniel. Her knowledge, feedback and advice throughout has been so helpful! Highly recommend!

We've just completed Emily's Recall and Loose Lead Walking course. Emily's great skill is in balancing a well structured course with her vast experience in spotting the little details when observing you and your dog. She really takes the time to get to know your dog! The smaller class sizes are great for sharing experiences whilst also seeing lots of different doggy behaviour with an expert to guide you. When you practice what you've learnt between classes, this makes all the difference.After each class, you get access to a recap video incase there's anything you might have forgotten from class or perhaps you need to show other members of the family who can't make all the sessions. Emily's also on hand via the phone if you get stuck.There's nothing more rewarding than starting to realise your dogs potential and build a strong bond with them.
