Good place to stop as a transit point for the ferry to The Netherlands. As the ferry leaves at 09:00, this place prevents the need to wake up at silly-o'clock in the morning just to be on time for check-in at the port.A decent sleep in a comfortable bed. Will use again.

Reliable and consistent, that's what you get with Premier Inn, and thus one was no different. Clean, tidy, and all you need in a room. Attached restaurant was a Brewers Fayre. Breakfast here was plentiful and reasonably priced. Service was friendly and welcoming.

Even though it was only about 20 degrees outside, our familyroom was hot and humid and as always the window will only open a peep. Hotel needs aircon, it's the only option for a family near the ferry

Rei was an amazing help to us and really went above and beyond. She's an amazing worker and Premier Inn are lucky to have her.She was even checking in guests with a smile seconds before her shift ended.

Ok. I'm rating this based on what it is. It is a budget hotel. It does everything that it needs to. Family room, sleeps 4. Inexpensive, fantastic breakfast for everyone, friendly staff. One bonus is that there is a Lidl across the carpark. We could stock up for a picnic later. Parking and roads all very easy to get to places. I could imagine this being a regular stop for people before getting onto the ferry in Harwich.

There were nail clippings in the hotel room. The bath had a weird smell. The hallway smelled like pee from the toilets downstairs. Disgusting. The location was efficient because of the ferry. I would not recommend it if you are not staying here to take the ferry. The area us not that pretty or special. There are supermarkets though, that's a plus. The restaurant was okay, but sort of a self-service. You have to order and then they bring it to you. The breakfast was not it for me. The banana that I had was not fresh. There was not even regular butter (only salted or some sunflower 'butter').
