The Co-operative Food

I'm quite impressed with this store and the staff they are very helpful on the tills , I took my mum in there who is elderly and they were very patient with her and now she pops in there on her own as (her girls) will help her, to me that's lovely and compassionate , the store is set out very nice and easy to find what you need. I'm not to keen on parking there its a bit of a pain actually getting in and out of especially getting out heading left. Rather busy at times too. They have a free ATM machine too which is a bonus. Food is very fresh and do some times have some good offers. Overall sometimes prices are quite dear but that's CO-OP for you. Overall 100% customer service at this co op shame others in the area don't lead by example.

I am so disappointed tonight as I needed medicine for my daughter. I walked from home in a rush and got to the door at 10.26 PM. They close at 10.30 and they had already locked the doors ! It clearly states on the front door that it’s open until 10.30. I knocked to try an explain what I needed and the staff just hid from me !! What a joke and I miss the local independent shops that actually care about their customers.

Great little shop but very disappointed as I have just bought my lunch, went to eat it only to find my chicken I had just bought went out of date 2 days ago. Phoned the manager who said oh god OK

A great place to shop can get most of the things I need there. A cash point with free withdrawals a pay point and a good selection of food and household items. Most of the staff are helpful and friendly and a smile and humour go a long wY.wayAmway's a pleasant shopping experience. Well done to the staff your ployers should be proud of you

The staff are very kind and patient and always encouraging it is a pleasure to shop here. I would recommend becoming a member of the Southern co-op as the savings are definitely worth it.

Southern coop use to have the best in-house sourdough loaves of any supermarket however the “new” rebranded version is disgusting- tastes like the flour has been substituted with sawdust. Not so much irresistible as inedible

Terrible, 3 times in a raw after walking for 10 minutes I was not able to get what I need, staff rude, shop shuts b4 10pm it says open till 11pm... Never again...

I was seen walking in by a member of staff. I picked up what I wanted and stood at the checkout. After a couple of minutes I turned around to see where the staff were. The same man asked if I was paying cash, I said no, by card. He then told me to use the self service which I hadn't seen.

One of the worst shops I've ever shopped in. Automatic door doesn't work, staff actually shout at customers, poor shop layout, out of date items on shelves. Truly terrible.

Nice staff.Handy for most things.Also has fresh baked bread.
