Excellent service. Took my car in for an MOT. It needed brake repairs to pass. Totnes Auto Services went the extra mile. Friendly, professional and efficient. Great communication, no hidden costs and very good value for money.I would happily recommend this garage to anyone.

I would warn anyone not to go to Totnes Auto Services Car Garage. A friend of mine was treated very badly by the woman on reception. She is so rude and left my friend very unhappy after visiting. After being quoted a fee for a repair, the final invoice almost doubled what they had quoted. They didn't swallow their error, like other garages do and demanded payment, which was duly paid. It was a considerable amount of money in the first place, let alone the final fee. Even worse was the fact that all of the shoddy work done didn't last. They are very rude, unhelpful and unprofessional and I would highly recommend not using this garage ever. I was so upset to hear about the treatment they gave my friend that I had to write a review.

My experience was absolutely fantastic!! Best garage I've been too and I've been to alot over the years. They staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the standard of work is excellent. Could not fault this one bit

They diagnosed defective clutch. Paid for it to be fixed. Picked car up. No improvement and handbrake disconnected. They said to see if it improves!! Took it back and in the end it was a slave cylinder. Why they didn't try that first instead of replacing clutch is beyond me. Then to hand car back without even checking that it was roadworthy is just poor service. Would never use again.

bought a car for over £2,000 since buying the exhaust fell off, the cam belt went and now the alternator has gone! this all in 6 months of purchase.

Booked my bmw x3 in for mot got a courtesy car wich is great. Mot failed on 2 tyres and bulb so asked them to complete work turns out bulb was a moulded led so needed whole new back light the lady kindly searched for a 2nd hand part for me and found some wich I purchased and they fitted. great service and great price will be my nber 1 choice to go to in totnes as I've used nearly all the other garages

I have changed my rating from 5/5 to 2/5 for the following reasons:I have been loyal to this garage for years, it was my go-to garage and I would give them all my work. Even on my motorcycle when Roger Trott did them.But now, I had my car fixed due to an MOT failure, (I had suspension bushings and an exhaust muffler changed) so I went back to get it fixed.As I entered the office, I was asked if I had a mask, to which I responded that I didn't due to being exempt, they then told me to show proof and long-story-short an argument ensued, and I will never be going back. How I was treated that day was shocking, I have emailed them a couple of times, but I guess I will have to take legal action and sue. I have only just started to get over the trauma of it all. Also, they were maliciously calling the police as I left.Other than that, they were my favourite and most trustworthy garage who has good pricing and availability. Other than customer service, brilliant. They earn a star for the work. Although the work they did was bad, they were going to fix it.

Nice dog, shame about the service.Just paid £282.62 for service here. Next morning the coolant warning light came on. Lifted the bonnet, no coolant. Topped it up with water and it has been fine since.Garage insists they checked the level and won't remedyAny garage that will fall out with a customer over coolant is not worth dealing with .G

Had my mot and service done here and I was very impressed with the service. The receptionist was efficient and very nice and along with a smooth service they dropped me off and picked me again from work. Thank you to the young lad that did that. I would definitely recommend, and I shall be using them again in the future.
