I was falsely accused of stealing alcohol from the store when I had it brought as a present for my partner, to which I told them I don’t have receipt as it’s a present, never been so embarrassed in my life. I had my one year year-old on me as well and pregnant.Felt like the staff there wouldn’t listen to me and just stereotype me as a young mother

I think it's one of the best Lidil I have visited. I was a daily customer as I was staying nearby. The stock goes empty here very fast due to the huge number of customers in North end. So one star less only for the stock unavailability

Compete idiot of a security guard working on Saturday 9th am, probably didn't like that I am a younger person with a trolley.Said a customer saw me putting extra items in my trolley, showed him in my trolley and my receipt showing all the items in my trolley, but still made me feel like a criminal. Won't be going back which is a shame as was in there every weekend for small items.

This security guard either needs re training or sacked immediately! I came in with my dog, who is a in fact allowed to be in there under all of Lidl guidelines… this security guards approached me an without asking or getting any details of my dog (miniature dax), he then told me to get out and proceeded to lay hands on me which at this point I told him to get off and he had no right to be touching me… a few second pass by and I’m been dragged by my neck and my t shirt and the top of my arms to the floor whilst holding my dog, he then proceeds to grab the dog but it’s lead and pull on it neck and at one point have it dangling in the air! At this point I told them to call the police and that I wasnt leaving till they got here which the security then told be to stand still and stop moving! ( which I didn’t). The police said they are gunna look into it to as This guy is the biggest bully I have ever seen and needs to be taught right from wrong ASAP! Really wish I had access to the cctv thoHow is this man still employed here, all he does is assault members of the public! And it’s not the first timeThis man has an SIA license and not one of these were followed;1. Act with honesty and integrity2. Betrustworthy3. Well stocked. Had to come here as Leigh park was out of stock of things but hey ho. No big problem. Happy to travel

A very popular store that replaces the old superstore. A good range of products, including baked goods, tinned goods, fresh produce, frozen & chilled produce, and a lot of non-food related products. Staff are friendly and well trained, recognising when checkout queues become too long and re-act quickly to open new checkouts. The store has become busier in years and has re-acted well to increased customer levels & demands.Amazingly helpful staff, especially Helena in finding Vegan deserts

LIDL is a gem of a supermarket that I've come to adore! The warmth and friendliness exuded by the staff truly make every visit a delightful experience. The wide array of products available is commendable, catering to a diverse range of needs and preferences.While I've noticed that sometimes the shelves can appear a bit untidy, I'm inclined to believe that it's a testament to the popularity of this bustling store. It's heartening to see people actively engaging with the products and exploring the options.In the grand scheme of things, the minor shelf mess is far outweighed by the positive aspects of LIDL. The exceptional staff and the fantastic variety of items they offer continue to make me a loyal customer. Here's to hoping this lovely supermarket continues to shine!

Hit and miss for a lot of items. You couldn't do a good weeks shop here. Coffee mate, chub rolls for dogs, eggs, anchovies, frozen chicken breasts are all items that I personally buy, but for some reason they stopped doing them. You can still get eggs if you're lucky. Very slow to restock shelves. Quite often meat fridges are empty. Couldn't and wouldn't recommend a good shop here

I like Lidl's but it doesn't sell every- thing that i want, but reasonably priced though.

Awful shop and awful customer service. The security guard stopped my son (11 nearly12) who was alone when he was walking out the shop once he had already paid for the items. The security guard patted my son down and undone his pockets to find nothing. My son was so embarrassed and very upset.Understand they have a job to do but if training was right they would know your not allowed to touch anyone let alone a child and should be taken off with 2 adults to a room if search needs to be take placeAlso why didn’t the security guard ask my son to remove his coat himself?When tried to raise concerns with managers of the store (after my son came home sobbing he was so scared) was told they can’t do anything as it’s an outside company who deals with securityCustomer services number wasn’t any good either until we advised we would go to the police ,someone advised they are going to get someone to call/ email back but not heard yet.Be careful of the security who obviously not had training or know the laws !
