Visited the Otter and took advantage of their very attractively priced 2 meal deal. Upbeat and tidy spacious pub with friendly bar staff. Food was excellent even more so for the money !Clean seats, tables and cutlery. Plenty of choice on the menu.This one is an easy one to recommend!

With music/Karaoke/DJ Disco's etc going on in here attracting the attention is what this pub needs again.Last weekend the music was pumping out thanks to the new landlord for allowing this which, showed what a really good night you can have in here...Good decent mixes of musicGood atmosphereGood bar staffGood peopleGood drinksTop class landlord!Not had any food here yet under the new management

Had a bite to eat with a friend. Went for the 2 meals for 11.95. As it happens both went for gammon. Really nice. Friend said IPA was good and was cheap. Not too busy but not empty. Bar staff were good and attentive.

Traditional pub grub. Fast service, friendly locals and staff were fantastic - if I was in the area I'd be poaching them (staff not locals!). Lovely George Ezra quote as wall art with nod to canaries.

After waiting 50 minutes, several of us received the wrong food/parts missing. It was also such bad quality, over cooked oven food from frozen. Tasteless and dry. Fishfingers were dry and burnt, the chef couldn’t even follow the instructions on the packet… Bad, grumpy service too. Coleslaw was watery. Will never be going back.

Excellent food, really really good, freshly cooked and tasty, and bigger than expected. Friendly staff, fast service, nothing too much trouble, he checked in on us and made sure it was all ok. Good atmosphere, comfy seats, clean toilets, it was just a pleasure to go there and we definitely will again.

Food was excellent value for money. Nice, typical pub menu with something for almost everyone. Service was good with staff addressing an issue we had qickly & without fuss.
