The Cheesy Toast Shack
We had a tasty treat after a long walk on Kingsbarns beach this morning. What a joy to order from the very friendly couple at the Cheesy Toast Shack. I ordered the New Yorker mainly because of the Monterey Jack cheese. I hadn't had this yummy cheese since I left US, so this was even a bonus. The New Yorker was so yummy. I highly recommend this toasty...... So cheesy.....!!!Today was so perfect on Kingsbarns beach for a lovely walk and a lovely, yummy lunch with my friend who treated me to the Cheesy Toast Shack treat.

I’ve been to both shacks at Kingsbarns and St Andrews and the food is always excellent and the staff lovely and really helpful. Great that they offer a vegan toastie too. Faultless at both sites. Keep up the amazing work!

Flipping delicious food! The menu and the shack has expanded a lot since I was last here which was probably 2019 I suspect. The staff are really lovely and friendly too, it's obvious that they are a big part of what makes this feel like a community, not just the excellent food.My hot chocolate was really tasty too. And there is a really good selection of sauces for the toasties. I chose the green chilli one (can't remember if it was jalapeno or habanero, but perfect with the mac and cheese toastie either way!)

Today was my second visit to the Kingsbarns shack and both times have been awesome!Great, friendly service, great location, great food and great value for money!Will be back again next summer on our annual Fife coast road trip.If I had any criticism it would be that they need more picnic benches.

Delicious Mac'n cheese toastie with nice views of the beach and a Scottie by the sea.The friend that I went with has an egg allergy but it was no problem because the staff were able to prepare her an egg free mac'n cheese toastie.

Great crispy toast creations with Cheddar, ham, pickle, Chorizo and the famous Mac’n Cheese Toasty. Great value for money! Beware of the seagulls!!

If you're feeling like a toastie then this is your place. Lovely toasties in a lovely setting.You can sit on the beach and enjoy your choice of toastie with lovely views....no guarantees about the weather though!There's a car park, and public toilets next to it too, and great walks along the beach in either direction, including along part of the Kingsbarns course.
