Experienced as both an in-person and online customer. Both times staff were helpful and accommodating. Minor problem with the mail order was very quickly put right to my advantage so cannot fault the customer service. I would recommend this shop to anybody.

Ordered a british modular sleeping bag yesterday, today got an email stating that my order has been shipped. So far the best pricing and order handling speed than from any other surplus shop i have bought from. 10/10 recommended.Edit: Finally received the order. Little warehouse smell and a few stains here and there but otherwise in perfect condition. Price for the condition was very good. Definitely will be looking on this shop first when buying more surplus.

Had an issue with an order and spoke to the owner Paul directly. He was professional and made sure everything was resolved.I still think their entire online experience can be improved upon, which is why it's 5 stars and not 4. Pictures need to be clearer on the website (I can't see what I'm buying!), and sizes need to be checked properly. Also, if you have an issue with your order, make sure you call them up, S&O are very helpful over the phone but over email... not so much.But putting that aside, the way Paul resolved the issue was fast and professional and I'll be buying more surplus from them in the future.

We went here to kit out our son, who wanted some warm, waterproof clothing. The staff were very helpful & knowledgeable. The service was excellent & everything was very reasonably priced. We had one happy teenage boy. We will definitely be heading back soon.
