Shelley's Budgens & Sub Post Office

RUDE AND OVERPRICEDTHE WORST post office in Horsham, they are very inconsistent. Lost my packages which I posted and some packages are still missing after 2 months. This is dangerous to my business as it looks bad on me when packages don't arrive on time. Has different standard for package size EVERY time i post something. Some of the staff (not all) are EXTREMELY RUDE and offer no help with issues. Not to mention the shop itself is wildly overpriced. I HIGHLY recommend not using the post office at Shelley's as you will only be causing yourself more trouble and if possibly avoid the shop as a whole.

Mouth almighty old bat with grey hair and glasses. She needs to go a people skills course. Dreadful customer service on every level.

So shocked to see people are complaining about the ladies in the Post Office, I actually go out of my way to go here, there always super helpful and very polite. Service is also fast and it's Royal Mail prices so that's nothing to do with Shelley's! Think there brilliant!I tend to buy the local produce from the shop element and it is more expensive but thats because quality is fantastic. I highly recommend.

Not happy at all! I'm sorry but every time I go there the staff are rude and ignore customers. Im not saying bend to every will for a customer but at least say hello and talk to them. We have been loyal customers since you opened but when my mother comes home after being ignored and annoyed the loyalty stops there. we will no longer be shopping with you

Right the prices in this shop are 50% higher in places than other shops.The brands this shop uses are budget brands from bookers etc but with a massively inflated price tag .This should be an aldi / lidl or change prices to a fair going rate as its just ridiculous in there I can afford it but can't justify it when all other shops in the area selling the same or better quality goods are charging less

Everything you need. Don’t be put off if you think there is limited parking - ample round the back.

For those who need a full service post office that is open until 9.00pm this is for you.Easy Parking, excellent and courteous staff.I cannot recommend them too highly.All services available up to 21.00I am not related or connected to any purposes.

It's always good to have Budgens close to my house and their staff is usually friendly. The opening hours are good and they have saved our lives a few times when we ran out of something. The only bad thing is the price which is a bit too much but sometimes they have good offers so I would recommend. They also have the post office which is really handy.

Thought I'd found a lovely new shop to visit. The shop it's self was great but when i got to the till and was asked if i needed any bags I said no thank you I have my own cloth bag but it would be great if you could put the whole chicken in a thin bag as it was damp on the bottom and I didn't want it put in my own bag unwrapped. I was met by this young dark haired girl (about 19 years) ignoring me while carrying on chatting to the male on the other till, charging me 10p for a big carrier bag. When i questioned her she said in a stroppy voice, we don't have any free bags, not even for raw chicken? I felt shocked at her rude look and rude response and feel that any other shop would be happy to put a whole raw chicken in a protective bag. I told her that i did not ask for a 10p bag and I felt it wrong to charge people 10p to wrap raw chicken. In the end she reluctantly agreed to take the 10p off. I thanked her and as i walked away I was met by her sacristic voice shouting Have a nice day!" Shame as I liked the shop but sadly wont be returning."

I love this post office. I have a small business I run online and rely heavily on the postal service! I have lived in Surrey and Luton over the past year and had a few local post offices but I must say that the service here blows the rest out of the water. The ladies, Pauline and the Julie's as they are now known, are great! They will always go above and beyond to help me, and have helped to explain new postage rules abroad and even giving me leaflets and stickers to help!I cannot fault them anywhere, unlike other post offices in the area who are totally shocking and frustrating to deal with, these guys really are fab!Thank you ladies for making my job a lot easier, but also providing wonderful customer service, which nowadays seems rare. These ladies are always smiling and willing to help, really cannot sing their praises enough! To keep this level of service throughout the pandemic as well truly is admirable!
