After ordering from their website two pivot brakes they were advertising, I received a flimsy parcel that from the get go looked dubious. Before ordering from them, we used Halfords that have shipped a similar but extremely small brake, which was not the correct size. Item came in a box sealed ....you get the gist. My Items that were supposed to be two, were actually four knock offs of what I intended to order. for the untrained eye one could have said that luck has struck. Most probably, not willing to send the original bought parts, they used a psychological approach making one think that four is better than two even if of poor quality. This double pivot breaks were literally held with black tape, had no inscription (as ones bought) and the axel meant to hold the system together was extremely small and missing nuts. Not to mention they came with n instruction booklet/leaflet whatsoever. When contacting them, in the hope that it will be rectified, apologies on top of apologies were used, and I was assured through an email that a new order is being prepared to be shipped as soon as possible this time with the correct parts. I even opened up to the guy (not sure it was the same 'S. A.Senior Customer Service Advisor')saying that i was badly in need of the things as my wife was carrying our daughter on the back of the bicycle and was in need of proper stopping power. Again, apologetic, I was also ask to send the wrongly received part and pay for the shipment as per their return clause, only to receive my money for the shipment back once they have it. Guess what?, not only I used proper boxing and cushioning for the wrong parts, but no one beat an eye when prompted with the proof of my sending the parcel back with proof of payment. After contacting them again via chat because they are under high volumes of emails due to incompetence, someone answered that....we are yet to send them. After a week of waiting. Will go to 'You & Yours' at BBC, and contact the right ombudsmen. I have asked for my money back, but they insist my new order will be treated as a priority. Ironically they insist on me leaving a review...

I should state that my bike purchase was late 2020, and therefore perhaps not reflective of their current state of affairs…But credit should be due, at the very least, for how well their bike has performed over these past years. They originally handled an error in their supply of a wrong part and the subsequent breakage of a wheel/spoke nipple very helpfully. As the in-house wheel was discontinued, they replaced the wheel (in effect a fractured nipple) with an upgraded SET of Mavic wheels…!Ribble sold/ allowed choice for integrated cockpits/ aero bars when the likes of Specialised/ Canyon were still selling off their inventory of non-aero bars…I have been more than pleased with my Ribble, and can only wish them well in regaining their mojo.

First things first the bike you order isn’t necessarily the same bike you get. What you see in the pictures is caveated with small print that obviously no one sees.I bought a “fully loaded” Hybrid AL which comes with all kinds of extras but when it arrived it came with a different handlebar, bell and different grips. All of the items are considerably higher in on quality and aesthetic compared to what I received and this changes the look of the bike substantially. I raised with them but they said it does mention this in the small print.Less than three months in the left rear brake has broken and the bell has also. Again I have raised with them now it’s been a week and still no response. The quality isn’t as high as I would have hoped for and the customer service is poor, which is such a shame cause this bike has potential and so does the company but there are so many reviews mentioning poor customer service yet nothing seems to be done about it.My wife wants a new bike but I won’t be buying from Ribble again.UPDATE: RIBBLE sent new parts and paid for the labour to fit at the local bike shop. Also gave me a £100 off for the time wasted and being inconvenienced. Incredible customer service from Habib! I’ve upgraded to 3 stars because I still shouldn’t have experienced all the above in the first place but Ribble have done well to sort.

I was going to buy a bike from Ribble but after reading all the reviews I have completely been thrown off and my so called dream bike I will buy from else where. This is quite shocking. Not one person has an apology from Ribble customer care on the reviews. It's a relief for me as I was going to treat myself to the SL ULTRA SPORT for £2699.00 from a 2010 model but at this rate I will have to stick to what I know and more window shopping for me.My excitement has gone through the window.. even was planing to cycle down from SW London to bay water to check out the store. Thanks to all these honest people leaving reviews changed my mind and SAVED ME TIME & MONEY!!!It also says 30 days money bk refund so for those who didn't read that lost out.

Ordered bike to find out the model shown in website photos is not the bike I'd received and the bike in the photo is spec that costs ~£1000 more than the model shown on the website. This fact is in small print. Bike ordered with delivery estimated around 10 days later. 10 days comes round and no bike in sight. I have to contact Ribble to find out my bike is to be delayed another 6 weeks with no guarantees it'll even be ready by then. Absolutely awful customer service from start to finish. Stick to the brands you know!

So, today is happy new bike day!! R872 collected today and what a beauty she is! Reason for the post? To say a huge well done to the team at Ribble Bluewater. Three trips in five weeks to talk bike, order bike and collect bike. Spoke with Kyle, Karl and Noah in the store and all are a great asset to the team. Knowledgeable and approachable, clearly into the sport and keen to help. Kyle was great to talk through options; Karl did a great job on the order and setting the spec; and collecting the bike today from Noah ready to ride was brilliant. A jot from start to finish - great work, gents!

I don't even know where to start to be honest! You buy a bike from this company, you won't get ANY customer service. Especially if something goes wrong, they just want to put their heads in the sand and ignore you. I sent a email on the 5th of August trying to sort an issue with my handle bars, today is the 24th of August, and not so much as a quick phone call. This company is the BIGGEST pile of dog $$$$ in the world! I would NEVER spend another penny with them. And there attitude absolutely stinks!Ribble - you are the worst bike company on the planet!BUYER BEWARE!

Visited the store to get some information on their e-road bikes and frame sizing. The man that helped me (didn’t catch his name) was friendly, knowledgeable and answered everything I needed. I got sized on their bike jig, which was eye-opening for my riding comfort, and he helped me spec a bike for when I look to upgrade next year. All round a great experience and impressive service.

A word of Caution about Ribble BikesI have now had 2 Ribble SL Rs suffer from cracks in the carbon Isee blue bike pics) where the head tube meets the down tube (and I am not even that heavy!)Whilst Ribble have replaced the frames, my interactions with and the level of service received from Ribble has made me vow never again to buy a bike from RibbleI am not even going to moan about the amount of time it took to get a replacement the first time round, this time however it took nearly 2 months to get the bike back to me, it took them around a month to even look at the bike and only when I caused a right fussOver that 2 month period they ignored my upfront explanation of the importance of getting the bike back within 30 working days (they quote 28 working days to return) as I had a cycling trip to the Canary Islands booked, due to Ribble’s inaction I had to cancel the trip and lost money on the elements I could not cancel/insurance claim for, this was despite chasing Ribble every week during the first month.A no point over that 2 month period was I given any proactive update, I had to ring in or email for an update, each time getting the same non committal “We aim for 28days” responseAfter many chasing emails and calls it got to the point where my new frame was to painted I was then told I could not have the same custom colours as before as they have changed paintshop from external to internal and no longer do those colours. Finally last Friday (13th Jan) I get sent the bike back, again with no proactive update except the DX Delivery “Your parcel will be delivered” on the day it is set to arrive (I had to change my plans to ensure I was home).I unpack the bike to find 3 chips in the paint, (see attached and there was no damage to the box and the areas damaged were under bubble wraps so I am pretty darn sure this was damaged priort to sending the bike back) and my seat post, saddle etc completely disassembled and the parts thrown into a smaller box in the bike box. Ribble provided no instructions how to assemble…..SIGH….. another 1 hour on the phone to chase instructions how to assemble the bracket and use to attach to the saddle and post.I was then promised someone from Aftercare would call me re the chips on the bike and guess what…….NOTHING, no call, no email…..only after kicking up a fuss on their facebook group last night and multiple people chiming in about there bad experiences did someone contact me, purely from a damage limitation point of view IMO, and that is the story of the Brand, unless it publically looks bad they dont careWhat a total mess! If you were thinking of buying one consider the above, if you have one good luck!

The staff here is really helpful. He helped me choose the right size by putting me on a bike fit machine and adjusting it according to my height and arm length, then choose the right pedals for the bike, and the discounts available at the time. Answered all my questions patiently.
