I have worked at Meadow Rose Nursing Home for a number of years now and I find the staff at the home very friendly and easy to work with. I also enjoy interacting with the residents and being able to provide them care and support.

This is a very welcoming care home. Staff are friendly and well-trained, they are always happy to help with questions and treat the residents with dignity. The home is very clean, the rooms are decorated to a high standard, and the food is really good which is important. They really care and take time to get to know the residents, I can honestly recommend this home.It puts your mind at rest knowing your family members, are safe and happy.

My Mother recently passed away after staying at this home. They have lost most of her clothes. They wereInspected by the Care Commission in 2020 who rated the home as needs improvement. It seems nothing has changed. We have reported this. Appalling.

I visited a friend for the first time at Meadow Rose yesterday. The last few months have been horrendous for her. i found the home to be immaculately clean. The virus precautions were absolutely spot on. my temperature was taken, my details were recorded for contact tracing, i was given appropriate ppe and escorted to her room. The members of staff I met were warm and welcoming. My dear friend is so much younger than the majority of their patients, I don't think she would be with them if it wasn't for the virus but that is not the fault of the staff at this home and it is to their credit that they recognise the sadness of her situation. I am so glad that at least she is in a place where staff see her as an individual. Obviously i cannot yet comment about food but I am so moved by their care for her i have to give them a five.

I have worked in many care homes as a carer and by far this carehome stands out. Colleagues are very positive. The residents are extremely kind, smiling all the time, very funny too, great humour as well. I would definitely recommend this care home for anyone needing a place to work or for their family to stay because the residents makes this carehome a real home.

As a paramedic on placement through University, placed at Meadow Rose, I very much enjoyed my time here. The residents have a lovely family/friend unit and the home have created a warm community here. They have fun activities everyday to keep the residents active and entertained. The staff are very attentive, and take great pride in their duty of care for their residents. The facilities are very clean, and have an array of different equipment to help with all types of conditions. The management take great care in the safeguarding and home management, creating a positive environment for both staff and residents.

I enjoy working here. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. I have been with this company for almost 15 years. Such a fantastic company to work for. The directors and senior management are very supportive. So proud to be part of this family! Couldn't ask for a better employer.

I completed 2 weeks of placement here as a student paramedic. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly! We were given the opportunity to help out in all sectors of the home, I have gained valuable experience due to staff always being happy to answer any questions and show me their day to day work. Staff have great knowledge about all the residents different conditions and how they should be managed. All the residents seem content in their home and their needs are attended to. They are given the opportunity to engage in activities, provided entertainment and have a lovely area for socialising. All in all it’s a lovely place, great environment and facilities and provides a homely feel for residents and their families
