Swadlincote Snowsports Centre

Went here for my wedding reception on 29th April 23. We had an amazing time and the staff were all so lovely. Big thanks to Darlene and Claire for helping it run so smoothly. Will definitely need to return so my wife can enjoy the activities better without being in her dress. Everyone had the best time and the staff were understanding with guestsThank you for making it a special day

Very nice place to spend a day with kids. Great sport activities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Easy to use all sport equipment and kids can run around by them selfs while they enjoy the activity. The activities are outside so in sunny day is very great place but maybe in rainy day its not the best place. Definitely the kids will have a fun day out tubing and tobogganing.

Just had an amazing experience here with my wife. We did the tobogganing, sno tube and drop, and it was exhilarating. The staff were also so friendly and helpful- at one point, I felt a little ill because of the hot weather, and the staff were brilliant at making me feel better and able to do everything else. Thank you so much, and we'll definitely be back - strongly recommend this place for families!

Very expensive. We paid £40 and got one ride on the tobaggan in an hour and a half odd long visit. 40 mins wait for a 90 second ride . We Called it quits as time slot booking appeared to have collapsed into a free for all. Understaffed perhaps and Queue jumping seemed apparent. Staff trying hard but not organised, undertrained - one in restaurant didn’t know how to make a Mocha. Staff on the toboggan was ready for a break and still had 5 hours to go. Nice lad. Whole facility felt run down and ramshackled. Toilets were unpleasant. My son didn’t want to go when he visited them.Overall very disappointed. Wasted time and money on this visit.

My daughter (age 11) and I had a great couple of hours this morning in the sunshine. We had a go at the snow-tube, toboggan and the drop in the company of our very friendly and experienced instructor. We will definitely return with the rest of the family - thank you!

The rating is an overall assessment of the facility, not a reflection of the amount we enjoyed our visit. Which was loads!We had a Wowcher for snow tubing, tobogganing and the raptor run, which is snow tubing on a short but bumpy run. As a combination of activities, this really is a winner. The kids loved it and so did we.The centre itself needs some attention. It's an old building and it shows. Really they need more people to go there so they can afford to improve the place so more people will want to go..... Chicken/egg

Just had a couple of hours fun with the grandkids, who are nice and tired now. We had the sno-tube, toboggan and drop and they loved it. They also kindly offered both girls a taster on the ski which they loved and saw how tiring it was. Great bunch of staff who made us all feel very welcome. We will be back.

Food was nicely cooked and presented, despite being given to another table. No sausages available for all day breakfast, not advised until you notice them missing! No replacement offered until asked. Toilets in terrible conditions with no running hot water even though the tap is clearly marked hot. Open bins left in restaurant and chairs left on tables the wrong way up. Hard to find a fence not broken or attached to the ground, does Stevie Wonder conduct the health and safety reviews? Poor signage. The grass slope has seen better days. General maintenance for the toboggan run appears to be none existent, thought fun once your on it. Staff friendly and state it's a good company to work for.

Took my 10 year old daughter & we had a great time. The staff were great & very helpful. We went on the toboggan & the rings but preferred the toboggan. We were there for a couple of hours but as it’s not very far we are looking at going back. There are other things you can do there but as we were doing a flying visit as we had other places to go to so didn’t have time, we’ll do them on our next visit as they looked fun.

My son and his 2 friends had such a good time tobogganing for his 12th birthday celebrations! The staff I encountered were super friendly, polite and couldn't do enough for you. Special mention to the guy running the tobogganing on Friday 15th Dec, the lads all said how great he was with them, so thank you! Reasonably priced for what you get. Definitely recommend.
