This is a fabulous, unique church! Well worth a visit. It has both charm and history in abundance and is still an important part of two rival communities! Can't say that for many churches today!

Awesome church emaculate inside, the first time I have ever been inside it, and unusual the two doors on either side, one for port wemys the other for portnahaven. Brilliant.

Portnahaven is one of the most picturesque village I have been too . The seal in the harbour and the sunset are fantastic.

On a Wednesday in the summer they have Tea in the Church". It's FAB. They serve tea and lovely home baking in the church and you just sit in the pews and chill out. Very friendly welcome. Visiting Islay? Don't miss this!!!"
