Just picked our van up from Cosmic Campervans after having a Skyline Aurora pop top fitted. The service we received from Dario and his team was exceptional from start to finish.Upon dropping our van in to them, Dario welcomed us and gave us a tour of their workshop and talked us through the work they would be carrying out to our van and answered any questions we had. Dario was good enough to send us some work in progress pictures of our van which were really good to see and added a personal touch.Upon collecting our van the quality of the roof and the workmanship was excellent. You could see that real care and attention had been put in to fitting the roof and the carpeted finish around the opening. Dario took his time to explain how to correctly put the roof up and down and answered any further questions we had.We would 100% recommend using Cosmic Campervans to anyone looking at getting a pop top fitted to their van.(I don't usually write reviews, however had to share how pleased we were with the service we received from Cosmic Campervans. I recently purchased a VW transporter pop top roof from Cosmic Campervans in Derby and I am extremely satisfied with their service. Roger and Dario were very patient and answered all my questions. The roof is made by Storm and is one of the best poptop roofs I’ve seen. I highly recommend Cosmic Campervans to anyone looking for high-quality workmanship, I plan to use them in the future for a diesel heater. I really genuinely cant recommend these guys enough. I had storm pop top fitted in the Mrs new T5 pride and joy, with scenic canvas, lights and carpeting.The standard of work was fantastic, genuinely, the care they have shown and level of service is amazing.We drove a fair distance to go to them as they offered the carpeted sliding hatch cover , and the overall standard of dealing with them from quote onwards was fantastic.I have to give a special mention to Roger who's communication, throughout the process was exceptional, sending us photos of the work in progress, facilitating drop off out of hours, and picking me up from the station and dropping me off when i collected the van. The van came back cleaned and i was given a full walkthrough of how to operate and secure the pop top.Mega impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. At the end of the day having a big hole cut in your roof is a worrying experience and not something you want rushed or not done properly and these guys were brilliant, and reassuring throughout.Thanks Cosmic :-)

I have just picked up my T5.1 from Cosmic Campervans where I trusted them to carry out a large portion of my camper conversion for me. Before booking in with cosmic, I got multiple quotes from other well-known companies, none of who came even close to the customer service I got from cosmic from day 1. Dario spent hours on the phone with me, even before I booked in giving me advice and help on multiple conversion topics and guiding me through the process. He listened and understood my needs and helped me tailor what I wanted to ensure we could utilise our van in the way we intended when complete (as a first-time van owner, this was gold dust!). He then went on to quote me for the work we, together had specified at a very competitive price. When my van went in to cosmic, I met the guys who would be carrying out the work, they were friendly, knowledgeable and gave me confidence that my van was in the right hands! Throughout the time my van was with cosmic, I got regular updates via phone and email from Matt who sent me photos of the build and ensured I was happy with the work they were doing. When it came to collecting my van, I had some logistical problems (due to borrowing a car from a family member while my van was away). Cosmic understood this and went above and beyond to help accommodate my awkwardness. The finished article was spectacular and the handover/explanation of how to work all of the electrical equipment was second to none, with the offer of support post collection being made clear too. I couldn’t be happier with the customer service or end product. I can’t rate these guys highly enough, if you are considering converting a van (or getting any other conversion related work done) don’t bother going anywhere else.A huge thanks to Dario, Matt, Roger and the rest of the team at Cosmic!

Excellent service from the team at Cosmic Campervans. We opted for a Planar Diesel heater for our T5. Prices were very reasonable and availability to book the van in was good.The install quality was exceptional and Roger and the team took time to run through the system operation and a full demonstration.It’s easy to give good customer service when things go well but harder to do when there are problems. We had a few issues post install that were mostly down to a previous owners poor quality electrics. The team at Cosmic worked through them for us and made sure everything was as it should be and back to top quality. Cannot recommend these guys enough.Very knowledgeable, friendly team and seemingly nothing is too much trouble. They even make a good brew if you’re there for a bit while they check things over.For any future work I will be returning here as the guys are first rate.

They have just converted my Vauxhall Vivaro Van with a Drivelodge pop up roof. I went for the option with LED lights and carpeting. The standard of workmanship is excellent and very professional. Also very good communication from Roger, who kept me updated with photos as the work progressed and was most helpful. All in all a very happy customer!

It's a tough call, allowing someone to cut a big hole in your pride and joy! We looked at several different people to fit a pop-top roof to our T5 and after visiting them, we settled on Cosmic Campervans in Derby. The reasons for this; M1 crash certificate for the roof, professional organisation, good options and a good online presence.We are very pleased with the work done and the roof itself, it makes such a difference to our van and how we use it.Go for the bi-fold bed option, it makes such an improvement for the space inside.Remember, you get what you pay for and unless you absolutely have to get it done as cheap as possible, Cosmic are well worth a look.
