Garlands Shooting Ground

A fantastic day out for the four of us organised by Terry, fabulous catering by Catherine, and briliant guidance/tutorage around the shooting ground by Graham....we would highly recomment.

Had a brilliant day out clay pigeon shooting, Steve the instructor took our group and was very helpful, good fun and soon had us all hitting the clays. Would highly recommend for a day of something different.

I cannot speak highly enough about the both the grounds or our instructor Steve Bickley, My friend and I hadn’t read that you have to book and just turned up with my local one being closed. The one we normally go too is pick up your fob/clay counter and off you go however today we were accompanied by Steve Bickley, his knowledge of both the grounds and shooting is priceless! He is both patient yet informative, it’s not a case of his way or no way, he adjusts to your way of shooting and with his 20+ years of shooting fully insured and CRB checked helped my Friend and I achieve a personal best!!The benefits of having Steve walk around with you is that you get free tuition with Steve passing on his experience and knowledge of the sport.Lovely grounds and a fantastic tutor made this the best day in my Friends and my own history of shooting to date!

Wife had booked this for my birthday and I had a fantastic time, staff in the gun shop and shop were lovely to chat too, there is a refreshment on site where u can purchase food and drinks. I want to give a massive thank you to Graham the instructor he was amazing, very informative and knowledgeable about shooting and giving me hints for when to shoot. Would recommend to all and will definitely book again

Absolutely loved this!As a group of novices, the advice we received in how to shoot the clays was on target !We really enjoyed going from area to area to have different clays to shoot in various manners. The instructor was very knowledgeable and very helpful.We all left with a small souvenir and would definitely go back again.Thank you for a great time!

Great first shooting experience. Would highly recommend to everyone. Steve and Paul were both great teachers and helped us improve. All of the staff were very nice. Good variation in shooting as it’s not just the same one type. Will definitely be back. Thank you all. 5 star.

Short visit for daughters 21st. Really helpful staff made booking easy. Group abilities were catered for well. Steve Bickley not only gave us great tuition, he also made the visit fun. Even when my clay stopped and posed for me on the rabbit run and i pulled the shot, he didn’t roast me (too much). Really helpful advice on future options if getting involved in the sport. Will certainly be back. Highly recommend these guys.
