Co-op Food - Glasgow - Crown Street

I liked the fact that they helping the local community with the free food bank during covid-19 and much of other activities other times. They do have most of the essentials for the buyers, but their prices are not the best. A bit pricey compared to the other markets near by.

Bought new potatoes the other day that were Rotten before the sell by date and the chicken breast had a chewy texture like rubber. Like it's been frozen and defrosted multiple times. I am so glad Aldi has finally opened up in the area. Maybe Coop can take an example from them regarding the quality of products AND prices. Enough is enough... and the fact that you ran out of all the types of water not long ago is ridiculous taking i to account your alcohol isle is always well stacked with no shortages. Thank You Coop for looking after the community. lol. At least the staff are friendly but the products have never really improved to be honest.ps. The new self check machines are so slow the flinstanes had more modern technology. haha. Heavy Disappointed as there is absolutely no improvement from this company over the years whatsoever regarding standard products yet the alcohol isle got much larger. Still lagging way behind other stores to no suprise.

The Coop fantastic shop for all those last min gems, great staff, offers wide range foods, drinks, all your household goods ect also offers free cash machine on outside. Always handy if your looking to get some cash asap. Good staff check out the special deals on offer. Good clean store good customer service.

Customer service assistant known as Karen is very rude and unprofessional

Charge 10percent extra for delivery substitutions which is supposed to be refundable not only have I never been substituted but NEVER had a refund in dozens of deliveries SCAM

Decent range of goods, competitive prices and I do love the ethical aspect of shopping there. The staff seem quite attentive and clear signs around the store for social distancing. The car park having a charge after 30 minutes seems a bit cheap. It's not a huge store, although they do pack a lot of variety into the space, so I could manage the 30 minutes without a problem but if I had kids in tow and was going for a big shop this would be a bit rushed.

Recently undergone an extensive refit, improving the produce available and the overall experience of the store. A hugely improved shopping experience. Staff were friendly too.
