The House of Toby London
A good hotel and very nice staff, 24/7 walk in available.Had some downsides in the room but the staff fixed them immediatly.IF u are a tall person I do warn you, because the bed could be too short. In my case my whole feet sticking out, I'm 1m92.

Small hotel in former pub building located close to Kings Cross station. Rooms are clean and well furnished. The bed was comfy and the rainfall shower had plenty of hot water. Continental buffet breakfast (£7.50) was good quality with plenty of choice. The staff we interacted with were friendly and keen to help. The room rate was really good for London. We would definitely stay here again

If you’re headed to London ( House of Toby’s Hotel) is worth checking out small and cosy. The room is nice and clean everything you need to make your stay exceptional bed comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. Great price value will be coming back in the future.

Booked for 1 night but ended up staying for 2 nights due to change of plans. Went to town, came back and found out that housekeeping had not tended to the room, when I enquired I was told because we left a note on the door, but that was not the case at all.The room comes with breakfast which is great but it's not your full breakfast option as there are no eggs or bacon or baked beans. Also, the bathroom doesn't have a door which doesn't offer much privacy if you're with someone and you need to do your business. Lol. There is however, a door to the shower and offer standard amenities.Staff are warm and helpful.Overall it is a great location as it's 1 to 2 minutes walk to the bus stops and about 6 minutes walk to Kings Cross St. Pancras station which serves many lines as well as National rail service making travel and connection very seamless.

Really wanted to love this place but I couldn’t. I checked in at 10pm and was given a room on the ground floor which had no windows but that didn’t bother me much. What did bother me was the box of condoms I found in the drawer, also a stain on the sheets and random hairs I found on the pillowcases - short hairs which could have been from a shaver. Yuck. Receptionist was lovely though, he did offer to change sheets for me late at night and they moved me to a different room the next day. Second room was fine but I did wake up to the fire alarm being set off early in the morning (which apparently is quite common from the steam of the showers). Location is perfect as it’s a short walk to King’s Cross. Price wise- good for London but the rooms really need a new coat of paint so it looks clean.

Amazing hotel with lovely helpful staff . We had the quad family room spotlessly clean . Only down size was the stairs as no lifts in old buildings . Will deffo be returning here .

Stayed here for two nights, the location is absolutely great when you arrive by train because it’s so close to St Pancras.Everyone working there was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean and big enough for your stay if you’re here on a city trip. The only bad thing about this hotel is that you could hear EVERYTHING, so we heard our upstairs neighbours having a very intimate time with each other and that was very gross and considering it was around 2AM and kept me awake was not that great. But I understand that’s out of their control…

Just a 5 minute walk from King's Cross. Lovely friendly warm welcome from the reception staff. We had a triple room on the 3rd floor (would of been a 5☆ review but no lift) We had a triple room that was surprisingly large (1 double bed and 2 large singles). Air con in the room that was a godsend as London was experiencing warm weather in October. Ensuite bathroom large shower with a powerful rainfall shower. Definitely will be back again.

The House of Toby London
House of Toby London offers a charming and budget-friendly stay in the heart of the city. The personnel's warmth and attentiveness create a welcoming atmosphere from the outset. Although there's no elevator, the well-appointed rooms provide comfort, especially for smaller groups. However, the rooms for four guests might be a bit snug. The breakfast room's cafeteria-style setup adds a unique touch to the experience. Despite this, the hotel's central location and affordable rates make it a convenient choice for those seeking comfort and accessibility without breaking the bank. A hidden gem for a pleasant city stay.

This place was centrally located, making it great to get around London as you're only a 5 minute walk from King's Cross station. It a very small feeling hotel, with narrow stairs, hallways, and rooms. Compact is the word I'd use.The room is sound proof but small, with the walls needing a fresh paint job. We were on the second floor looking I to the back area. Not a great view. The bathroom is very small and does not have a fan, requiring you to have rhe door closes otherwise you'll set off the fire alarm, a £100 charge for doing so.This place works great as a centrally located home base for visiting London. Definitely not a luxury hotel.
