My Optician

I recently came here for my regular check. The optician Shaguftah was very thorough and the test was twice as long as I I’ve had at a well known high street opticians. She was very patient and answered all of my questions knowledgeably and in detail.Emma then spent time with me making sure I chose the correct frame and lenses that suited my needs and budget, again she was very patient and friendly. I choose two pairs, one pair was available the same day and the other with specific lenses only took a few days.I wouldn’t go anywhere else while that team is there.

Really helpful when needed an emergency pair of glssses. Made them while we waited, less than an hour. Superb. Staff were really pleasant especially Marie. Top marks.

Excellent service! Marie was brilliant when we came in with my daughters rather bent and cracked glasses after an accident with them over the weekend. She managed to straighten them out enough to wear and booked us in for the next available appointment with the optician. Replacement glasses were ordered and available for pick up the day after. Friendly and efficient service all the way through! Thanks.

I had an incident where I accidentally broke my glasses, and I can't express how thankful I am for the wonderful staff at this optician shop. The lady who assisted me was incredibly helpful and fixed my glasses free of charge. I truly appreciate their kindness and expertise. I wholeheartedly recommend this shop for their exceptional service and generosity!

I went in for a contact lens appointment, and Shaguftah (the optician) was knowledgeable and patient, offering lots of advice for my dry eyes. Emma, the Managing Director, was very helpful when it came to discussing my options and arranging a follow up appointment. Brilliant customer service, thank you!

I felt that I had a really thorough eye test from the optician Shaguftah, which lasted longer than at chain opticians. We discussed my eye history and I felt confident that she understood my problems and what I needed. There was time to discuss what I wanted to discuss and I felt very comfortable with a decision to try varifocals. I then spent time with Emma who went through the varifocal options in more depth and who helped me choose glasses. Emma was great, I really felt again that she understood my concerns and was able to put my mind at rest, and she guided me through the choices to be made really well. She found me a great pair of frames which really suited me and also fitted well. I could see that she was really experienced and knew what she was doing. I found a great optician and manager a number of years ago and was so relieved as in the past it had sometimes taken quite a while to get glasses fitting exactly right and it can be a difficult experience, and I'd even given up on glasses which weren't right at a certain chain. I was devastated when they retired and had a few years in a no-mans land of not great experiences at a chain, including having to have my glasses re-made twice, once because they had been centred completely incorrectly, and I don't think they were ever quite right. But I'm so glad I tried my optician. I really feel I have the confidence that the staff here know how to help me and really care to make sure I get the best experience. It may just have been luck that they fitted perfectly from day one. But from comments made, I think it is skill not luck. Trying varifocals for the first time, which I'd always been too scared to do, they were fine from the moment I put them on. Its rare in my experience for this to be the case even with normal lenses. Thank you. Having glasses which aren't quite right, especially when you have a very strong prescription, can be such an awful experience and has such an impact on day to day life. It is such a relief to have a good optician and support staff. I was also pleasantly surprised by the price which was very good for high quality thin lenses. I had assumed it would be more expensive than at a chain but this wasn't the case. I am definitely going to be back!!

Poor customer service. Popped in yesterday to book an appointment. 1 customer, 2 assistants. I was ignored for a while, then given a cursory glance and they said I'll be with you in a minute"

Great overall experience! I have been coming here for 4 years and I am very happy with the service, quality of eyecare and everything else. I would highly recommend.
