Wow, what a lovely historical building, part ruin, part useable. Stunning craftsmanship inside the chapel and adjoining room. Very friendly key holder who was happy to chat about the church.

This a unique church with a mix of both ruins and a functional church. Of special interest is the side chapel with its two rare renaissance era terracotta tombs, which are some of the finest in England and an example of the peak of English Catholic church art on the eve of the Reformation. Definitely a must visit.

The spire of this early 16th century large church collapsed in 1948, partially ruining the south side of the nave. The literature has it that this event was caused by the heavy bells combined with high winds. The remaining undamaged East end chancel, which was walled up, is a large, lofty space and contains a rare Peter Pence lectern. Very light and airy. Plain not stained glass windows bring in plenty of light. The adjoing chantry chapel, whose lead roofing was recently stolen by thieves, contains memorials to the Bedingfeld family of Oxburgh Hall. They include two very rare renaissance terracotta tombs.Rather a sad visit seeing the after effects of water damage in the chapel due to modern day greed - theft of lead roofing. No cost to visit but donations are welcome.Free parking is available using Oxburg Hall entrance with access Gate in South West corner of church grave yard.Teas and toilets can be accessed at the nearby Oxburgh Hall entrance. Also a site well worth the visit. If this review is helpful please press like.

A partially ruined church due to tue reason that the steeple collapsed in the 1950's. It is still in use and has some stunning terracotta tombs as well as some marble memorials. This is worth a visit if you are at the Oxburgh Estate next door it is just a short walk from the car park.
