OYO St George Hotel
Absolutely dreadful. The rooms look nothing like the advertising photos. There was mold on every single wall and on the ceiling. Not only this, but we found a bag with marijana and from looking at the other reviews, people have reported smelling it from the front office meaning someone left it in the room I was staying in. Not only this, but the room is very small and beds were uncomfortable and the whole place seem very unsanitary. Staff aren't exactly very nice either 0/10.

Small room, 1 bulb out of 3 working in the main box room. Door didn't seem to auto lock so make sure you lock the door. No lift, and tons of stairs. Room with a view, if I stood on the bed on my tiptoes, I could see the top of the houses of parliament but sat down all I could see is was the guttering. It wasn't stupidly expensive and had a comfy bed.

Would not recommend, maybe we got an older room/building. The hotel is split between 2 locations*Pros*1. Bed bug free!2. fast and free internet3. Affordable for the area, near buckingham palace4. Strong shower water pressure5. Adequate toilet6. Free shower gel and shampoo!!cons!!1. Black mold in the walls in general2. The hand wash sink drained slowly, probably clogged with hair3. Old beds with covers4. 3/5 lights on the room light we’re broken5. The bedside lights were not operational6. Decor and furniture was dated7. Carpet looked old, not completely clean8. The Room is accessed by literal metal lock and key9. Front desk hours are not 24/710. No public toilets outside of the rooms11. The small dresser Closet is dusty, left a mark on our trench coat12. Hair dryer was outside of the bathroom13. Walls were thin so you hear noise from the narrow hallways and gurgling water from the pipes

I did not feel comfortable sleeping in this hotel! when you book, the photos on the website are beautiful and attractive, but the reality of the room is different. the room has carpets with various stains, the sockets do not hold the plugs to charge the phones well, the wardrobe was missing a door, the room smelled of mold, the ceiling of the bathroom was moldy, the toilet drained water underneath when you flush. the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work and was completely covered in dust. the shower stall was moldy in the corners and the grouting of the ceramics was grimy, the window is not double glazed, and the noise of the planes going down to the airport interferes with rest, the walls are thin, and if the guest in the next room opens the tap or have a shower, the pipes make so much noise that it feels like inside in your room. the location is fantastic, but still not worth 110£ a night, at most 80£ would be fair! in short, next time, I'll pay more, even if it's a hotel farther from the center. But I will not stay at a low rated hotel again.

Pros:- Offers the very basics (private bed and bath, WIFI), which are in good condition.- Good for those on a budget.- I liked that it wasn't in central London, simply because it was slower paced and easier to relax. Additionally, it was close enough to the tube station where getting to the city center was easy.- Didn't have much encounter with the staff, but when we did, they were friendly.Cons:- Website advertised free breakfast, but they didn't offer it.- WIFI worked for my husband in the whole room, but it only worked for me in the bathroom.- Very thin walls- LOTS of thin, narrow stairs to get up to your room with no lift.I would recommend to those who are sticking to a budget and are traveling to the area for the sites and only need a bed to sleep on.

Nice simple hotel a short walk from Victoria and pimlico stations. My room was clean and mould free, bed was comfortable, shower and bathroom all working fine. It's a budget hotel, so don't expect too many frills. There are plenty of breakfast options a short walk down the road so I didn't get the b&b option.Another review complained about the planes. Wherever you stay in this part of London you're gonna hear planes, cars and emergency vehicles. It's not a busy street but there is some traffic noise sometimes.

Cost effective hotel on which the 3 stars stay just in the border.As most OYO's the location is great but don't look for luxury or high maintenance standards.We stayed in a triple room for 3 nights. The room was not too large but quiet and comfortable for us. If you use the desk and chair you don't have space enough to circulate around the bed. None of the 3 night lights by the bed worked so it was a little problem for reading and comfort but nothing serious. The room was never serviced during our stay.The staff was in general friendly and ready to help. We were allowed to leave our luggage before cheeking and after checkout. I was a little worried because apart from the CCTV there was no other way to control who the luggage belongs to but luckily nothing was missing...all was were we left in the reception area. For some reason I was not allowed to use the common area toilet after checkout but that is something I could manage then...after your 50's sometimes you request these things with real urgency.The hotel does not offers breakfast or any food but you can find bars and restaurants in the near by. We had one of our breakfasts in the Battersea Power Station which is only 15 minutes walk from the hotel.If you want to be in this good location and you don't care much about aesthetics of the place this can be the right accommodation for you for a fair price.

Book at your own risk. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I found a bag of drugs that was left in the room that was supposed to be clean. The bathroom ceiling has black mold and there is spider Web hanging from every corner of the room. Check out time was 11am and I handed in my key at 10:56. The male at the desk took the key, then turned around the the cleaning woman and said finally" no thank you
