We went on The Best of the West tour today with Conrad. We wanted to show our visitors how beautiful the South West of Cornwall is and how lucky we are to live here. This tour didn't disappoint it was informative and breathtaking., 5 hours flew by...we saw the majestic St Michaels Mount, beautiful Lamorna Cove , dramatic tin mining on the north coast and a visit to the lovely church in Zennor and heard the story of a mermaid. These are just a few of the highlights we experienced today and to say that Conrad is enthusiastic and good company is putting it mildly, if he can't answer a question there and then, rest assured he will find out the answer and get back to you.If you want a brilliant day out and not worry about having to drive, and believe me thats an art in itself with narrow lanes to navigate and meeting huge double decker buses along the way, you'll be glad that it's Conrad driving.

I was visiting Cornwall for a few days without a car and wanted a tour round. Kernow Tours came up on an internet search. What a fantastic tour it was too - 5hrs round from Penzance, Newlyn, Mousehole and onto Lamorna Cove. The stone circle was so interesting. Lands end, Sennen Cove and onwards to the tin-mining North Coast, Zennor village and the mermaid and back to Penzance. Very enjoyable and interesting.

My husband and I are visiting Cornwall for the first time. The hotel recommended Kernow Tours, we could not have been more impressed. Conrad was extremely knowledgeable of the entire area and was able to take us to places we could have only dreamed about. We were able to see and understand everything about the history of the area and see all the topography with a local who knew everything like the back of his hand! Kernow Tours was a grand experience !

Cornwall has more Neolithic and Iron Age sites per square mile than anywhere else in the UK. Just had an extraordinary and highly informative tour by Conrad Kernow. He communicated the context of each site with a passion that is infectious. Additionally he included ancient and recent history and local culture of those who people this unique geographic space on the edge of the Atlantic and Irish Sea. My husband and I have hired pre-history guides in several countries. Conrad’s was one of the best.

Thank you Conrad.Truly two very special days touring both mining and prehistoric sites. Your engaging manner, warmth and good humour made it so easy for all to follow. This was a large varied group and everyone gained a lot of insight into Cornwall and the ways of its people.Do not miss the opportunity to join one of Conrad's tours. It is worth every penny.

I treated our American visitors to the ‘Stones and Bones’ tour of Penwith’s many standing stones, burial mounds, Iron Age villages etc. Conrad managed to compress 5,000 years of history into just three and a half hours — no mean feat. I’d recommend this tour and any of the others on offer — for example, Cornwall’s tin mining history — to anyone visiting this interesting and unique part of Britain. Conrad even played us a song about the correct way to pronounce ‘pasty’.

Best tour in West Cornwall! Conrad gave us an excellent 5 hour tour which he calls Stones & Bones. This tour, while focusing on Neolithic, Bronze-aged and Iron-aged sites, also included other historic sites and local points of interest. Conrad is very personable and knowledgeable of the area and provided excellent context to all the sites. Cornwall is filled with so much history and beauty and it was a great pleasure to have Conrad as our guide.

He effortlessly engaged them with age-appropriate explanations and made sure they felt included in the journey.
