The menu states that food is served all day, the website states that food is served till 8pm, but when I tried to order at 7:50 I was told the kitchen closed ten minutes ago. In the end I just had to settle for a packet of crisps, but at least I know not to chance going here for a meal in the future.

This is a nice pub and restaurant, both indoors and in the garden too.We had evening dinner for three with a drink whilst we waited. Service was quite quick when ordering at the bar, hot and well presented food followed soon after. All of us left empty plates and agreed we'd defo visit again. Thanks Jay and team, see you again soon.

Went out for early 21st birthday celebrations with me and 16 members of my family. Was an absolutely lovely evening. Beautiful food and Amazing service. Only 1 chef in to cook our meals and he did exceptionally well. No complaints at all. Thankyou again

Staff were lovely! They bought over a bed for the dog and treats. The food was a bit naff. The salad on my friends plate looked old, my peas were tasteless and the chips weren't great, but that could just be my taste. Parking spaces were tight.

On arrival the staff 2 females were friendly but seemed very busy. Went to ordered hot drinks to be told the machine wasnt working. If it had of only been me and my daughter i would of left and found somewhere else as it was a cold wet day and we both needed a hot drink. We had others meeting us so we stayed. In waiting to order.I was struck by that toilet smell and found it to be the next room where the disabled toilet door was left open. On looking around there were cob webs and dust. How ever the food was nice it was warm/hot. The beef was a bit tough maybe slightly over cooked. The others meals looked good and my guessed said they were nice. We had quite a wait for desserts which we didn't understand why,? as by the time that bit came around we were 1 of only 3 others eating. We had to go and ask about the puddings in the end. We witnessed a couple clear glass off a table as all the tables had been used but not cleared properly. When the staff was free she came round with cleaner and cloth and did all the tables then reset them. With covid still very highly out there as soon as the people left the tables should of been cleared and cleaned for cross contamination would of most definitely happened when the older couple clear bits off the table so they could then order food and eat.Unfortunately with everything that went on these were the only pictures I got. I think the pub needs a good deep clean as on arrival it looks nice but once sat waiting and waiting you look around and notice alot more. I hope they pick things up as I've always enjoy going there. The food was around £12. For a Sunday roast

Food is your typical chain pub quality, some dishes far better than others, ie., Mac cheese is pretty poor and on a couple of occasions we've ordered appears to be nothing better than what you'd get out of a tin whereas other dishes are better portions.Beer garden is a decent size with small play area for kids which works well in better weather and good for anyone with dogs.Having been local and visited the SE since the early 2000s the main disappointment is now the lack of sport, rarely, if ever have we seen SKY or BT advertised for footy or F1 so we go to other places purely for this so plenty of business lost as a result (but yes, I know there are costs involved for this)Bar staff all seem friendly and have a bit of a chat so that boosts the general experience. We only visit every couple of months now due to prices and cheaper alternatives within walking distance that show sport and have pool table, etc

Typical pub, comfy atmosphere. No large selection of craft beer. Big garden and extensive menu options, also a menu for kids. Parking available.

Bog standard pub. Had sport on, was pretty comfortable and not too busy. Was able to order via the app which is always handy and easy.Food was pretty average but it's cheap and cheerful.
