I love this place!!! High Beech ridding school gave me back my confidence as a rider and I truly appreciate the effort of all the staff to keep everyone safe and happy and the horses well looked after. Everyone is so polite and friendly. I highly recommend!!!

After not riding for about a year and feeling a bit rusty, I had a private lesson here! It was amazing! So glad to be getting back in the saddle and I will definitely be coming back! The instructor (I think her name was Jade) was so so so lovely and everyone was very friendly! The horse I rode called Eddie was an absolute dream to ride! Looking forward to my next lesson or hack! Thank you :)

A wonderful riding school who are very accommodating to riders of all abilities and genuinely care about all of the horses in their care. The staff are knowledgeable, welcoming, supportive and love what they do! A particular thank you to Tom for making us feel so comfortable right from the first lesson. The horses are beautiful with such kind and gentle temperaments. The facilities are great and it’s lovely to experience a hack through Epping Forest. As an experienced rider, I’ve been to and seen many riding schools, but High Beech is definitely up there with one of the best. Thank you, High Beech team.

I have been riding at High Beech for over 25 years. I have always loved every second of being there. Everyone is lovely and the horses are just amazing! There are lessons and hacks available for every level of rider.This morning my daughter had a pony ride on Albert. She hasnt stopped talking about him since. I think its love! Thank you!

I had my first lesson with Jade this morning and I also had the privilege to ride Thika. It has been the best thing I have done all year!!!Jade was amazingly clear and encouraging and Thika was just a gently beauty!I seriously don't think I can wait until the beginning of December to come again!Jade also told me about your ethos and horses having back to back lessons! I have certainly found my dream riding school!

I took my partner here for a taster experience. We arrived a bit early so got the chance to walk around the stables and stroke the horses and ponies, everyone we spoke to was so warm and friendly. The experience was fantastic, my partner was was straight on a pony called Jack, taught positions, handling of the reigns and feet position. She was soon trotting along learning to halt and go, then into quicker trots. My partner loved the experience so much and wants to book a proper lesson soon. Thank you everyone for making todays session such a great experience.

My daughter had her 10th birthday party here today and she and her friends absolutely loved it. From feeding and grooming the ponies to the ride out on them it was all brilliant and very well organised. Savannah was brilliant with the kids, who all had little or no riding experience, answering all their questions and explaining everything clearly. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you for providing a great experience for the kids.

After a few months away from riding after my share horse retired, it was fantastic to be back in the saddle at High Beech. Following an assessment lesson, I had my first hack yesterday on the beautiful Otis. Maddie was the perfect escort - friendly and chatty - it was like riding out with friends. I rode at High Beech many years ago before sharing a horse and their ethos hasn’t changed. The yard is clean, well run, super friendly and, most importantly, the horses are so well cared for. Looking forward to my next hack!

I couldn't wait to go back to High Beech after my initial riding lesson/ assessment before going hacking.I asked if I could ride Nutmeg again and had the most wonderful hack out. My escorted made sure I was comfortable as well as being great company. I am absolutely loving my visits here. Everyone is so friendly and the horses are so well cared for. Of course i am also already madly in love with Nutmeg who is perfect for me as I build up my confidence again after being out of the saddle for some years now. Thank you everyone and see you soon.
