It’s such a delight to have this shop near me where I can buy so many lovely nuts, grains, dried fruit and legumes in as little or big quantities as I need without redundant packaging. I bought almonds the other day which were the freshest and sweetest I had in a very long time.

Edit to your response: It's a well known fact that proper quality organic fruits and veg will last just as long as regular fruits and veg so that's not a good enough reason. If it were a one off I'd have let it go but it does keep happening from yourselves hence I was very annoyed enough to leave this review. Hopefully you've learnt from this mistake and maybe I will pop back and try your produce again and adjust my review accordingly.I've been disappointed with the quality of the products sold here especially the fruits and vegetables which are a lot of the time going bad and rotten on the day of purchase. This watermelon should last a while but was rotten a day later plus extremely expensive for the size as they are very small. Nearly £4 for a very small watermelon not much bigger than a standard apple. All their products are very much over priced. It's a shame because I do support organic foods but unfortunately this place isn't for me.

A great place to get organic and /or local fruit and veg. The variety of foodstuffs and ingredients is astonishing. You can bring your own bottles and containers to buy dishwashing liquid, shampoos or rice, pulses, dried fruit or pasta. The staff are friendly and responsive. And to think it is all done by volunteers.....hats off!

This was my first time there and I'm absolutely smitten. There's a great range of food as well as household products available. There are bins of serve yourself nuts and dried fruit etc., tinned goods, packet goods such as pasta and even a facility to re-fill your washing liquid and fabric conditioner bottles. The range of fresh fruit and vegetables looks great and the bakery items include sourdough bread. The only minor negative is the limited parking though I was lucky enough to find a space right outside. You might have to park a bit further away sometimes but that's not a great problem. Oh, yes, and I love the fact that the Co-op is owned by members and run by volunteers. The man who served me was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. A brilliant shop and long may it continue.

A fine source of whole foods such as breads, large canniters of a range of cereals, dried fruits, nuts etc and refills for soap etc, run mostly by friendly volunteers and a shared management. And generally we'll priced. Love it.

Lots of zero waste / plastic free and organic & wholefoods options here. There is a huge range of cereals, nuts and dried fruit, grains, seeds, pasta and rice, soaps, laundry liquid and fabric softener etc available which you can fill your own containers with, plus a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, and fresh bread. Many vegan and health food options, vegan cheeses, kombucha and suchlike. I like the number of glass and paper packaged products, great for if you're trying to cut down on single-use plastics. Friendly helpful staff. Love supporting these small shops and co-ops.
