On reaching 80years old my own dentist said that my existing crowns and bridges were wearing out and that the next step would be a partial denture which filled me with horror. I had always admired people with lovely teeth and all I longed for was a nice smile. My dentist recommended Noel Perkins at the Green Dental Practice but as I was going to have to have major work on my gums with a long treatment plan I asked if my husband could come along to the initial consultation. Noel was very explicit and encouraging to both of us and allayed my fears completely. I would say that Noel lives for his patients and his dentistry and nothing is too much trouble especially when dealing with an older person like myself. He has a wonderful dental nurse called Jane at his side who has a lovely smile and kept me cheerful throughout.All through my treatment everything was explained to me in minute detail and I ended up with my nice smile.I would certainly recommend Green Dental Practice.

Noel Perkins at Green Dental Practice was highly recommended to me by my usual dentist for two implants at the top left side of my mouth where there was a large gap. I had an extensive bridge on the other side, not designed for chewing, hence the need for implants. I have no fear of dentists having survived the rigours and, at times, torturous nature of my visits in the 1950s and 60s. Today's dentistry is remarkable. All was positive and Noel's calm and gentle approach allayed any subconscious worries that may be brewing. No concerns al all. The equipment was fantastic, enabling very accurate information throughout, in particular the digital images of my mouth at the start of treatment. An aspect perhaps not acknowledged in a review such as this is the training of students. Noel was clear and reassuring in his approach with them and they were very much at ease with him. I would recommend him for any dental work.Finally, to answer the question What would you say to someone who has never heard of my services?" I would say "Look him up......he's brilliant...." Prior to moving to Cumbria in 2019 I had spent several years trying to resolve dental issues with my previous dentist without success. Researching dentists in the area I enquired at Green Dentist Milnthorpe regarding implant treatment. I was advised Rab was unable to take any new patients but Noel was new to the practice and I could arrange a consultation with him.It was obvious from the initial consultation that Noel was totally professional and extremely knowledgeable questioning my requirements and expectations then fully explaining all the procedures, time lines, and the full pros and cons of the planned treatment.For the two years I have been a patient Noel has completed teeth extraction, bone grafts, implants and bridge work. Patient comfort is paramount to him as he and his dental nurse Jane (who I cannot compliment enough) create a friendly calm, relaxing environment.It is impressive how Noel also dedicates his time to teaching dentistry and his keenness to knowing all the latest techniques from worldwide professionals.I would not hesitate to recommend the practice as everyone from receptionists, hygienist and dentists have been excellent.

I have recently completed a course of treatment for a dental implant.Having always been a nervous dental patient, the decision making process, for treatment which would require many hours in the dentist’s chair over a period of a whole year, was particularly difficult. However, chewing and enjoying food had become challenging so I went for advice to Noel Perkins.Initially Noel explained my options clearly and helped me to make a decision. I liked that he uses the latest implant technology and techniques. During treatment he was calm and reassuring always giving the level of detail that I needed. I was particularly impressed that he even provided his contact details so I could message him if I had any concerns.Noel is ably assisted by Jane and the rest of the team at Green Dental. Jane is not only an excellent assistant to Noel but she also gave me the friendly reassurance and care that I needed.I am now able to eat and enjoy a full diet again and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Noel and his team for any dental implant work. We are lucky to have them here in Milnthorpe.

I recently had a dental implant at this practice .The treatment provided by Noel and his team was outstanding. As part of the process, I had to have an extraction; Noel ensured this was pain free and provided excellent aftercare. I am extremely pleased with the result and would return despite being 1.5hrs away should I ever need another.

I would like to recommend the Green Dental Practice for a five star rating.Despite being in my seventies, I have recently completed a long course of dental treatment under the dedicated and excellent care of Noel Perkins and his team. The final result is that I am now able to 'fully' open my mouth and smile with confidence.To say I am delighted is an understatement and my grateful thanks must go to Noel and his invaluable dental nurse, Jane. During the various procedures, Noel has answered my queries (and I had many!) in minute detail and always with unswerving patience and understanding. With his calm manner, he allayed any fears I might have had about the treatments which included: extractions, sinus graft, multiple implants and last, but not least, the dental bridge. Throughout the process Noel has always ensured the procedures were as pain free as possible.Using his extensive knowledge and expertise, Noel is committed to providing all his patients with the very best in dentistry. I recently completed my treatment at Green Dental for a dental implant. If anyone is anxious about receiving dental care then I recommend you choose Noel Perkins to provide treatment. Each part of the procedure was fully explained. The atmosphere was always calm and unhurried. One of the main concerns I had was that it would be painful however in my experience the whole procedure was pain free. Also not forgetting Jane the dental nurse who assisted in providing a welcome atmosphere. Without hesitation I give this practice a five star rating.

Over the past 15 months I have had 4 tooth-implants, a crown, and 3 cracked and jagged front teeth restored and 'topped'. This was done over several sessions with Noel Perkins at Green Dental in Milnthorpe. I'm absolutely delighted with the results, as now I can chew my food effectively and grin happily at everyone without embarrassment! It's so good at last to have teeth that work well, are pain-free and look great.I was nervous about the process as I'm scared of injection needles. Noel was very careful, numbing my gums progressively so that I barely felt the injections and was able to relax.I enjoyed the fact that Noel was willing to discuss the options at each stage, and to explain the various processes, techniques, and the latest research behind them. Experiencing Noel's use of his special expertise in dental photography, was fascinating and helped me to really understand the issues and what was being done.Noel's dental assistant Jane was excellent too - very skilled, kind, attentive, helpful, thoughtful and soothing.I appreciated that Noel did not rush the whole process, but allowed plenty of time between appointments for me to recover fully and for bone to re-grow properly etc. His skill, gentleness and cheerful friendliness has even managed to relieve my fear of dentists!The treatment hasn't been cheap (!), but it has absolutely definitely been worth it. I would certainly recommend Noel Perkins and Green Dental to anyone who is needing an implant or other extensive treatment.
