Develop Your Dog

I recently attended Jill’s Memories, Marks and Blinds workshop with Max (WCS). I have trained with Jill for several years but this was our first workshop with dogs and handlers that Max is not used to. Everyone was friendly and supportive of each other and Jill enabled us to experience different retrieve scenarios and taught different approaches if Max was struggling. We both enjoyed it and Max( a sensitive soul) gained in confidence. Very proud of him. Jill is an excellent trainer and I highly recommend her.

Jill has helped me train my 2 year old, wayward rescue Lab, Milo. We got him in March this year with very little training in his CV. He's very quick to learn, right and wrong, and Jill has always been very patient with him and me so our progress has been amazing. Jill has given us the right positive reinforcement training and Milo gained his Grade 1 Gundog Assessment in 6 months of me taking him on. Thanks Jill, keep those dummy's flying high!

I can highly recommend Jill...I consider myself to be an experienced dog owner, so when I was faced with a young spaniel who decided he was in charge I approached Jill to come to my rescue.A year later and what a difference. I no longer watch in horror as my dog chases a deer heading for the M4. Nor do I worry whether he will disappear down a hole never to be found.I have learnt so much about myself and the mind of a working dog. I have also found a new hobby and new friends. Its been absolutely amazing.We now have our Grade 1 and look forward to working toward the next level.Thank you Jill

High recommended!!Jill was recommended to me, and she has been superb at helping me to become confident in training my golden retriever (with a health condition). Jill really listened to my requests and trained me so that I could train my dog, who was already programmed to do it all but just needed me to express it correctly. I am now confident in off lead walks in rural areas. He obeys all the commands we worked on and is always happy to please. He always sits down to meet other dogs and people and waits when I ask him to so I can put the lead back on when necessary. The training was always delivered with care to his health condition, always fun and rewarding. I would highly recommend Jill to anyone.

Jill is just amazing! I’ve been to a few of her workshops with my spaniels and completed her puppy course with my youngest. I learnt so much and Jill is just so supportive and is always able to help and offer suggestions no matter what I’ve struggled with. We are part way through the Foundation Gundog course with Develop Your Dog which is giving our bouncy lab lots of new skills to learn and improving his general behaviour as well.Jill's quiet and calm way of instructing makes our sessions enjoyable and productive, with exercises to build on in the time between sessions.We're really looking forward to progressing through the Gundog training levels.

We've been working with Jill for almost two years, in both groups and one to one sessions. We find her ongoing advice and support invaluable. It has given a real focus to our dog training and regularly have fun, new exercises to practice. We have learnt so much from Jill and our dog is much better behaved from all we have learnt together. The knowledge that Jill has given us means that we now understand our dog so much better. Jill is a fantastic, knowledgeable, warm and friendly person, who clearly loves dogs.
