Hot Dogs Grooming & Day Care

I was recommended Karen at Hot Dogs over 5 years ago and she's been the best groomer to my 2 shih tzis ever since. My boy Murphy has always been particularly difficult to groom and has even nipped people in the past but for Karen and the gang he never has an issue and both my dogs run in to her lovely place as soon as they realise where they are. Always great customer service too, friendly and professional and always on time. Ignore the recent bad review its rubbish, honestly the best groomers a dog parent could ask for!

I wouldn’t take my my dogs anywhere else! I’ve been taking my schnauzers to Karen for the last 10 years and they always look (and smell) great! They have a good time while they’re there too! I’ve recommended Hot Dogs to lots of friends and dog owner acquaintances and they’ve always thanked me once they’ve had their first groom done. I’m over the moon with hot dogs, I’m a medic and time is short with shifts, I messaged on Wednesday asking if they had a slot on the Friday and they fitted me in no problem. I’ve got a labby and she was moulting terribly, in the groomers for a couple of hours and she’s come out a new dog. They were kind and she was happy when she came out so I know she was treated good. Will be going back without a doubt

Just the best place for having your dog groomed to exact customer preference. I learned of Hot Dogs from a friend who recommended them from many previous grooms. I initially phoned Karen who discussed price and what was required. When I attended the appointment I immediately felt comfortable as both girls were so caring and I knew my Golden Retriever was in good hands. I was absolutely blown away when I saw her nearly 4 hours. A 5 star rating from a very happy customer and her dog!!! Well done Hot Dogs!!!!!!

Been taking our Yorkie, Lillie to Karen and the team for over 10 years now. Would never consider taking her anywhere else as you just know that she’s in the best hands. All of the team genuinely love dogs and that shows from the moment when we drop her off for her ‘Salon appointment’ until we collect her later on.They cut her hair to our requirements (mainly keeping her tail and top knot at a good length ) and will never assume that cutting either of them will be acceptable to us.Add the nail clippings, anal gland checks etc. I cannot find any reason to take her elsewhere.

I have been coming to Karen and her team since my dog, Coco was a puppy. Her team are professional, friendly and really take care of the dogs. Coco comes back looking and smelling wonderful! I was recommended Karen @ Hot dogs by a work colleague 8 years ago and would not go anywhere else, totally recommend 100% - your doggy is totally safe and in great hands, every time!!! Xx

My Odo loves it when we get there and is pooped when he leaves. He adores Anya and Tia and enjoys his walks and cuddles with them. I can see I real positive evolution in his manner, his approach h to other dogs and hoomans and feel so blessed I can leave my furbaby in good hands when I'm working. Stephanie xx

First time at Hot Dogs - they did an amazing job on our large, very woolly and rather matted Poodle/Shepherd mix. Lots of photos of smaller dogs on the website so I wondered how they would do with such a big guy - clearly no problem at all! Attention to detail incredible, for example, his paws trimmed thoroughly between the toes like never before! He was there for at least five hours - I know he's a very big job, so I felt it was value for money too.
