I wanted to engrave a wooden business card holder. Asked for a price and they said that they will need to take picture of the stuff and ask in the office, then call me back. Didn’t. Went to check in the next day and they said they still hadn’t received a price from the office but will call me back when they do… still no call. On the top of that they said that I would need to give them a memory stick with what I wanted engraved in a digital format, so that they could send it to the office because they don’t have a work email which I can send the file to… Can’t believe they are a big company with many branches and don’t have an email or a form on their website which can be filled out and pictures sent…

Cracking shop. Lots of repair jobs done here....not just shoe repairs and key-cutting. Mobile phone repairs, watch repairs, watch batteries for life Scheme, livkxmiths, accessories. The list goes on. Friendly and efficient service. Some interesting reading about Timpsons as a company was displayed in the shop. A family run company that values all of its people. It's a good thing in this day and age.

They claim to have car key repairs as per the services listing, and also have a bunch of car keys hanging at the shop, but refused to even take a proper look at the keys in my hand, and simply said we don't do car keys here. Even more ironically, when I pointed at the keys hanging about, the guy simply shook his head and said no

Really good experience at this Timpson shop.Very fast service. I got 2 front door keys cut, 2 for £12.The person serving was very friendly and welcoming.Store is bright and clean. Seems well stocked on their keys.Reasonable price.

Made a key cut. Amazing staff and they attend to you and get the things done quickly

Had a similar experience with Ellie Lenton around the same time. They scratched the back of my watch and I complained so it was sent to their workshop. I stopped going there until beginning of the year when a friend asked me to take her watch for battery replacement. The guy named Dean was very different from the others as he was very conscientious and had excellent customer service. Took care of the watch like it was his. I went back again with two watches and he treated them with respect. Today I learned he had left the branch unfortunately and been replaced with someone who was there before and with whom I had the most unpleasant experience! Avoid this branch!

Popped in to get a key cut 1st April. The gentleman working there had only moved to this branch 4 days prior, Gary I believe. Anyways Gary was really friendly and talkative. Cut the key for my car which worked a treat. I was in and out in about 5 mins.
