I’ve found that being a knife maker in the UK can be difficult at times, as the necessary supplies and especially good steels can be hard to come by.I haven’t found a better shop to buy everything you need for knife making than GFS.They have a huge range of steels, grinding belts and abrasives, quench oil, handle material and more. Delivery is fantastic and often arrives faster than expected. Customer service is great too, I always get an email back very quickly. I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough for all the knife making supplies you could need!

Thank goodness these guys exist. Only place for a wide selection of knife making metals in the UK and always fast, good service. Ordered several times and never any problems. Some stock comes and goes but the mainstays are always available.

Great selection of stock and consumables. I've had to reach out a few times for some assistance and they have been at the end of the phone with superb customer care within minutes. I used to have to get various things from various places. I still buy some bits from other places but the bulk of what I use comes from here. It's dispatched with lightening speed and it's with you quick. Love this company and what they do. Use with confidence
