Ripped off garage !!!! They quoted me £250.00 just to open the bonnet and try to diagnise the car problem. Never mind the repair !!! They think they are main dealers who don't charge as much ????

I needed a spring replacement after a failed MOT at a main dealer. I was quoted a significantly cheaper price and they also drove to the dealership to pickup my car as well as arranging to drop it back of for the retest in a few days. Fantastic service and really appreciate them being able to complete the work the same day.

This garage was recommended to me a while ago for diagnostic work by David and Susan who used to have Motor Masters at Bamber Bridge. ( They are both sadly retired now ).I took my van in to have it checked for DPF issues. I was kindly informed that given the age of the van it wouldn't be cost effective, especially as there was a problem with the clutch as well. The guy who talked me through it was very friendly and helpful.I would like in particular to praise the cheerfulness of the receptionist. Sadly, it is very rare these days to encounter such a pleasant attitude. She literally made my day.I am not particularly local to the area but if it could be arranged to have the courtesy car again I would be happy to make them my garage, and would definitely recommend them to the locals.

Used this garage for last 7 years but new ownership has ruined it. Took my car for service, not long after had a coolant leak. New owners said to take it into their other garage Penwortham Autotech, and following a £267 bill to repair the leak at end of November it started leaking again in January. They refused to repair under warranty and now safe to say I will no longer use Eldon Street Garage. It seems what was a genuine, trustworthy garage, is no longer.

A very busy garage, which is always a good sign. Had to wait a few days, but they did a good job for a fair price.

Great experience dealing with Pete, who sorted a faulty battery that was fitted in my car. Pete was able to quickly diagnose and sort a repair within 48 hours at a time when other garages had a 2 week wait! Pete also called me a week later to check if the car was running as expected and offered to run another diagnostic to ensure that no error codes were popping up. Would not hesitate to use again, competitive prices too!

Fantastic.Bought a car a few months back and went to Devon over the weekend, felt there was something not quite right, lack of power, occasional judder, increased fuel usage...Not much experience with car repairs/garages, as I usually ride bikes, but I went to these guys being close to home. Despite no error code being stored, I was advised what the problem could be with a thorough explanation. I asked for the work to be carried out, expecting I'll not have the car for a few days, it was completed that very day. Bang on, problem fixed. Showed me the replaced parts etc.Friendly from start to finish, kept me informed all the way and even called the next day to see how things were. Absolutely will be going here again for all future needs.
