Gabriella has been my dog walker for about four years now.Bear had problems with other dogs and people on bikes among other things. He learnt that barking and lunging was an effective way to keep others away. So I used to keep our distance even crossing the road to avoid other people and dogs.Because of an incident with a dog Bear had been given an ASBO and had to wear a muzzle. I wasn’t allowed to walk him because, even if he was well trained in Obedience,I couldn’t hold on to him as I have MS.Coincidence would have it that I saw a leaflet of Gabriella’s and contacted her.I was really worried as I thought no one would want to walk my lovely Mr. Bear!At the time I could still walk Bou.Gabriella came and met them and knew exactly how to deal with them. They made friends immediately and she gained his trust. She turned bad encounters into good encounters using treats and praise. She also enriched walks with games. Gabriella is a trainer/behaviourist and walker with all the relative qualifications.After both dogs died we rescued Bandit to be part of our family.
