Express Bi-Folding Doors

I use Express Bi-Folding doors for the garden rooms we build at HGSpaces.We find Express a great company to work with and the quality of the bi-folds are to a very high standard. Their customer support is always on hand and quick to respond to quotes and any questions we have. Their delivery drivers are always helpful when they arrive onsite and call ahead to inform us they are due to arrive.

This was the first phase on our house and the expectation that the follow on phases would be worth in excess of £150K including a second house we are embarking on building. This phase was the replacement of 30 windows, 3 french doors, 2 bifolds and a large 4 pane sliding door.Given the overall value we went through a tendering process and selected Express Bifolds, not on price but on promises on delivery and the excellent pre-sales support. We were led to believe that installation would take 1.5 weeks and in the end it took over 10 weeks. We had weekends disrupted as the team could only work weekends and this meant we cancelled a family gathering over the bank holiday weekend.The team on site were great but the office doesn't have a clue, I have contradictory emails and you never know who to talk to. Unlike their competitors they don't have a project manager to support you through the process.Looking at other reviews I thought I might have been unlikely so was prepared to place an order for the next phase if I could have an explanation and a guarantee from the Managing Director. Unfortunately it seems he doesn't talk to customers. Similarly the Commercial DirectorThis company has grown very rapidly and they have either become complacent or more likely just out grown their processes which is the current industry view. What is the truth however is that this job was too big for them to manage and they are not interested in doing my other projects as size of project is an issue.Please if you want more than a few windows or a bifold DO NOT USE this company. They can't cope with large jobs.There is an issue with the glass which is currently under review by some experts. This company have claimed its normal but the windows look very different from those in the show room. These are very wavy and look cheap.

Quoted over 600 pounds to replace a faulty glazed unit on our bifold doors (twice the price of everyone else) it was replaced 4 years ago. Paid to get it replaced locally and the fitters found spacers incorrectly fitted causing the unit to fail. Express bifold refuse to accept this, poor aftersales service and will not recommend them.Photographs are of the installation done by Express Bifolds Experienced" professionals so buyer beware!!"

One of colleges abit young, drives very dangerously nearly rammed my car with my kids inside, bit of a coincidence that the next time I seen him he didn’t have the wrap on his car. Should teach your employees how to drive if you’re going to let them drive with your name on the car. Not happy !!!

Poor customer service and after sales. Express have a good product, sales process and showrooms. Unfortunately not so good when it comes to installation and after sales. Installation teams rush the job and want to leave as soon as they arrive. Attention to detail and care during and post installation is not up-to standard. They close ranks when it comes to customer complaints and hide behind paperwork instead of wanting to help the customer and make it right. This runs throughout the business from the bottom to the top. Express have lost a repeat customer but I can only imagine from their responses that they really don't care. The Express and third party warranty's offered are not worth the paper they are written on.

Returning Customer - and once again delighted!We used Express three years ago for bi-fold doors and windows at the rear of our property and have just used them again after we have extended the front of the property with sliding doors.For me, it’s not only the quality of the product that sets Express aside from others - it’s their professionalism, attention to detail, communication, and, of course, their OUTSTANDING showroom!On both occasions of our installation, Express have been onsite at the same time as other tradesman - and I really wish the other company’s onsite would take note of how Express staff conduct themselves! Uniformed, on time, polite - and importantly, respectful….and do not leave a total bomb site when they leave. 10/10 - keep up the great work!

Just had some stunning new bi folding doors fitted, from this amazing & progressives company. Everything was done with minimal fuss & high levels of quality & communication. A special thank you to Steve (owner) & the fitters Danny & Sam. Cracking lads very friendly tidy and professional. I would highly recommend this business. For anyone who wants high quality bi-folding doors at an achievable price.

I bought a set of sliding doors from Express and it's been a terrific experience. Ian and Jake were fantastic installers--very professional, very nice to be around while they were here, and they left me with beautiful, ridiculously smooth sliding doors.My salesman Scott was also amazing! Sold me exactly what I needed at a great price. I was also surprised at how fast they came! Overall great experience!
