Stayed in the Home From Home charity accommodation after a family emergency, and it is an incredible service they provide. Having the pressure of long travel or finding accommodation during an emergency is awful, and this charity takes all that pressure off, allowing you to focus on the important things. Being on site to help a loved one with the basics is so important, and possible because of this centre. Cannot praise this place enough.

Excellent experience in out patients.Only downside parked outside in disabled, pay machine for parking not close by for disabled and both machines not working. I think it would be a good idea to have signs and pay machine for parking right outside Sid Watkins.

My son spent four months in rehabilitation here after a stroke. The staff are absolutely wonderful, from the Doctors through to the Domestics. He was so loved and looked after by them all, and formed some really close bonds. These people really care. Forever grateful to them for supporting us through a tough time.

I go here about every three weeks, to see my Psychotherapist to help with my seizures, all the staff and profesionals here are really really good and helpfull, nothing is to much trouble for them, also it is probably the cleanest place on the planet, there is a food area that is second to none, they do a great cup of tea, there is plenty of parking here and you just drive in but you have to put your reg number into a machine and pay by card before being able to leave, some areas are pay and display as well

Remain on waiting list for neuropsychological input for FND (over a year now). There is no FND physiotherapy input, despite their patient information leaflet online stating there is. I only agreed to the psychology waiting list in the hope that eventually, the FND service will expand and I will get the opportunity to access more therapies. My one and only FND appt with neurologist was cancelled (without informing me). My advice to others with FND - look at FND services in other hospitals. My experience so far is that Walton centre is not interested. Maybe because it does not attract funding and there is scepticism amongst neurologists there. Good luck.
