Affidea Belfast

You're never going somewhere like this for any happy reason but the experience at Affidea doesn't do anything to offer reassurance.I arrived as arranged and was greeted by the receptionist who was pleasant and offered explanation that the clinic was running late. These things happen.Other than completing the consent/risk assessment form I was given no advice or explanation as to what would be happening, no procedure or anything as to what I should expect on the day or after.The waiting area was sparse and FILTHY. Thick layers of dust visible everywhere.The technician eventually rushed me off to a little changing room where I could leave my valuables. It was smaller than a cupboard.On being taken in for the scan I was offered music to listen to throughout. They were so distracted by their banter that they neglected to put it on until 2 thirds of the way through. I couldn't make it out anyway as it happened..On completion they collected my money, gave me a couple of sheets and I was on my way. Within a few hours I could see my scans but no report. 7 days later, still no report. I can see quite clearly there's something wrong but Affidea can't be arsed to share a report, when asked the admin was embarrassed to say they'd prompted the radiographer but couldn't really do anything for me.I have something wrong with my brain in the scan and they won't complete their report. I've paid for the service which they'll say they have 14 days to complete. I could be dead... They didn't clearly indicate that before they took payment.Look elsewhere

A terrible experience, left me very stressed after travelling for a appointment on the date given only to be told that they were not doing scans that day, I was to be contacted within 48 hours for a appointment but I had to contact them 4 days later to chase them up, and no follow up email as promised, disappointed

Excellent service, and such lovely staff.
