Wentworth Lodge

My mother was a resident in this home for 2 years before she died. The care and companion the staff showed to her was excellent.

The logdes offers amazing care for all residents, all the staff are incredible and also extremely good with them all. The meals are amazing and the offer of two choices of food every day from.breakfast having the option of Hot options of a Cooked breakfast or a continental breakfast, lunch also offers two options either a meat or vegetarian, two choices of desserts. Also a endless suplly of refreshments. when ever a resident wishes to have this. They have amazing ensuite rooms and very homely and personal to every individual person. They also have an activity time where they can have a motivational time to keep fit and active. Also time to go for a walk in the park and feed the ducks at Roath lake. They always seem extremely happy .

I visited Wentworth Lodge with my mother today (19 May 2022) as we were looking at a newly vacant room. We were so reassured by the genuine warmth of the manager and his team. All of our questions were answered honestly and the atmosphere in this care home was so positive, relaxed and homely. The residents were very happy, and clearly very comfortable in their environment. Lunch preparations were underway in the kitchen. Everything looked fresh and home made, the chef was happy to explain the menu, which sounded delicious and nutritious. I would like to think in an ideal world, that everyone who works in the care industry to support the elderly are warm, kind and generous with their time; the team at Wentworth Lodge today certainly were.

My mum has only been in wentworth lodge a few weeks but she has settled so well. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble . Wentworth Lodge creates a lovely and relaxing environment .Everything is always so clean and tidy .

It’s very amazing atmosphere in wentworth . All staff friendly and nice with all residents . They cook very nice and hot meals for residents . Personally i like that care home

My parents have been residents in Wentworth Lodge for over a year and have been treated very well.The staff at the care home have always been friendly, helpful, kind and hard working. They have shown genuine affection and concern for my parents. The manager, Toby, has been considerate and obviously believes in what he is providing in the home.The care home is always immaculately clean and my parents have liked the food provided, as well as the entertainment and activities.I would highly recommend this home to anyone, as we feel very fortunate to have found somewhere so comfortable and caring for my parents.

Worked at the lodges, lovely place, friendly atmosphere, food really good, residents lovely to look after.
