We were very excited to try a new restaurant in Dorchester and its safe to say we weren't disappointed. We definitely ordered too much food but it was worth it! All 9 dishes that we tried were amazing. From the first prawn cracker with chilli jam, we knew it was going to be an amazing meal.The staff were also super friendly and welcoming fron the second you entered the door. For a restaurant that has only been open a week, everything ran like clockwork. Great team!The decor was beautiful and the attention to detail is amazing. My husbands stand out choices were the duck gyoza and the pork belly bao buns and I loved the tempura prawn rolls. The sauces with each dish were all amazing too. We sadly didn't try any cocktails but they did look amazing! Highly recommend and will 100% be back.

Best Asian restaurant in the area. It's not cheap" but as a treat it's well worth it. Decor is amazing and the staff are super nice. Must visit of you enjoy sushi or Asian food. Id recommend the pork katsu curry

Visited for the first time today. It is definitely worth a visit. The staff were lovely and the food was fantastic. It didn't seem too expensive to me. Thanks everyone.

Fantastic food in a lovely setting. The sushi is melt in your mouth and the chicken curry was tasty and of really good quality. The dessert sharing platter for 2 was excellent value for money and included 5 different items. The staff were friendly and although, understandably as they've just opened, service was a little slow due to ongoing training, we had a lovely lunch and will be back!!

Absolutely such incredible food, beyond delicious and truly some of the most amazing sushi of my life. Buddha bowl was also excellent, amazing tastes and whilst a little pricey it’s beyond amazing and truly beyond incredible. Atmosphere is wonderful, a truly fancy restaurant without the pricing of an insanely fancy one! All staff friendly, polite and kind. Couldn’t be more happy with an evening spent here.

We knew we were in for a treat when the nibbles turned up during our consultation with the menus. Actually, when we first arrived the decor hinted at this restaurant being far from your Wagamama “faux” Japanese. The cocktail bar is beautifully decorated with red and black lacquered walls and gives you the impression that you have been transported around the world the an exotic far Asian country. This is amplified by the Sakura and Samurai in the restaurant when you are shown to your table. Then for the menu, this is not a quick decision, but rather a ceremonial process of selecting your evenings nourishment. A brief explanation by the waiter leaves us pondering the wonderful selections whilst nibbling on heavenly crackers. Fast forwarding to the starters and the first mouth-full of my Char Siu Bao dispels any beliefs that I’m in Waga’s, this is food on a different level, a level which I’ve not experienced since working in Japan. The memories came flooding back of all the wonderful Japanese cuisine I thought I would never get to try in Dorchester. Bravo Drgnfly for delivering an eating experience, and not a fast food outlet. See you again very soon.

Incredible food. Full of flavour with every bite.We had a selection of dishes to share between us and everything we tasted brought us to silent delight.The service was brilliant. Attentive, polite and welcoming.Will absolutely be going back.

Had a wonderful meal with a friend here a few weeks ago. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout and the excellent food really made the experience along with what was a good atmosphere in the restaurant.Sushi was the starter and I have eaten a lot of sushi but this is the best I have ever eaten. The duck Bao buns were also nice and beautifully presented and the Matcha Dessert Platter is well worth trying if you love something interesting and creative and also tasted great.It's not the cheapest meal but it's well worth the money and excellent value in my opinion so 5 stars all round.
