Port Hill Suspension Bridge
I just love this suspension foot bridge with its slight undulating movement when you cross it. Next year will be its 100th birthday. A great shortcut to the park. Another fantastic piece of engineering that Shropshire has in abundance. Give it a visit because its not too far from the Town centre. Constructed by David Rowell and Son it replaced the old ferry crossing.

It's so pretty!! But moves so much. I stood on it for a while waiting for my kids to return on their canoe hire, and I felt like I was standing in the water haha!

Stunning true suspension bridge over the River Severn. Leads out of The Dingle / Quarry Park. Takes you straight to The Boathouse pub. The pub has terraced outdoor dining overlooking the river, bridge and the park beyond.The best thing about the bridge is the notable sway" as you walk across it. If such things make you feel uneasy then be aware BEFORE you step on to it."
