Ladymire Equestrian Centre

After much deliberation about posting this review I have decided that it needs to be read before thinking about using this school.In the beginning Ladymire were amazing and so helpful. Unfortunately this is just a front.A front which hides the severe lack of business management skills, the unprofessionalism of the owner towards not just his staff, but helpers and riders.A lack of communication to those he relies on to keep his school running as well as losing his cool infront of riders and their parents and guardians. Along with openly discussing his disappointment with his own staff infront of said parents and guardians.And just to top it off, the helpers he does have are extremely disrespectful to those who just want to learn, making horrible comments about riders and shaming those who are just starting out. If you like a mean girl" mentality

Absaloutly lovely it is a good environment for my grand daughter to go horse riding she loves it so much and it is like a home to her xxx

I was really looking forward to doing lessons again here after being away for a few years but unfortunately I have now been waiting for almost 2 months for a call back after calling them multiple times.

We have visited a number of times over the past few years, always a joy with caring and patient staff and lovely horses when taking Princess Yvette for walkie’s with Lucky her favourite pony .Highly recommended with thanks to Lorna and the all the staff who have helped Yvette enjoy her love of horses even more.I look forward to our visits and the beaming smile of a little girl who has a genuine love for horses, I cannot praise the staff highly enough, we will be visiting for many more years to come, a perfect centre for little ones and people of all ages to enjoy and develop their love of horses , well worthy of a five star review, thank you Ladymire.

Lovely stables, very welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed a hack out into the beautiful surrounding countryside on a fabulous horse. Definitely recommend a visit!

Amazing with kids! Set out like an old American ranch in secluded woods and fields. Feels very idilic for how close it is to Ellon. Staff are super friendly and great with kids. Huge stables to walk round and roughly 30 to 50 horses. 30 minute pony ride through the woods was amazing for my 6 year old. Couldn’t wipe the smile off her face. Will definitely be back.

Having been a customer of Ladymire for a number of years now, the standard of horsemanship and animal care here is outstanding, and the lessons are fun and engaging. The riding school horses are well trained and responsive and some of the best I’ve come across, with care and attention taken to match the right horses to the right riders for a great experience for both.The care of the horses is top notch; I have very high standards for animal care and the ladymire team go above and beyond to make sure my horse is cared for in the best possible way, along with every other horse in the yard.The team are all friendly and welcoming; from the instructors who bring out the best in riders and educate in the surrounding aspects of horse care, to the yard staff and helpers who could not be more helpful and kind. The yard is kept to a very high standard.Ladymire have made me feel so welcome and their passion for horses and ponies shines through in everything.

Fantastic family friendly stable with a range of beautiful horses and ponies and knowledgeable, helpful staff. We did a 2 hour outing in a group aged from 10 to 46, including a rider with mobility issues (myself) and all had an equally wonderful experience. The centre offers lessons, treks and has a well stocked tack shop too. We did about 50 mins with their fantastic trainer, Lorna, getting some basics under our belts and then went out for a ride in the beautiful countryside around the centre. Owner Raymond gave us a warm welcome and was full of info about the mounts we'd been assigned. I was lucky enough to get Harry Potter: a sure footed cob with an angelic face and temperament to match.Thank you to all the staff and we'll be back soon!

Good place to get your confidence back, Lorna tge instructor is very skilled and understanding. Staff are welcoming and friendly.
